#TheBestThing is already my favorite #CDrama of the year. A simple, heartwarming healing drama with mind-blowing performances from both #ZhangLingHe and #XuRuoHan. Loved every second of it. โค๏ธ

Long-awaited mystery-thriller #BuriedHearts finally premiered yesterday! It's a political crime K-Drama starring #ParkHyungSik and #HuhJoonHo in the lead roles.
Seeing #ParkHyungSik in an anti-hero role, his chemistry with #HongHwaYeon, plus the #BigMouth like premise and a stellar cast, just makes it a must-watch for me. ๐คฉ
The show will be airing every Friday & Saturday on Disney+ globally and Wavve in South Korea.

The Chinese Historical Rom-Com #PerfectMatch has started airing on Netflix. The show has 36 episodes and is led by #LuYuXiao and #WangXingYue.
Set in the Northern Song Dynasty, It follows the journey of a family with four unmarried daughters as they move to the capital, not just to find good matches for the ladies, but also to grow and become independent by starting their own business. I love how the show balances personal growth with humorโevery character is unique and funny in their own way! Although the male characters aren't the biggest green flags so keep that in mind.
Oh, and there are also guest appearances from #JosephZeng and #LiYunRui. ๐

Now that #GuardiansOfTheDafeng has finished airing, itโs time to ask: Whatโs your favorite Dylan Wang drama?
For me, it used to be #LoveBetweenFairyAndDevil, but after watching GOTD, I feel Xu Qiโan takes the crown because of how unique and individualistic the role was. It felt tailor-made for Dylanโhe nailed every scene, from the quirky and funny moments to the heart-wrenching, emotional ones.
The supporting cast was just as phenomenal, and the OST matched the vibe perfectly (special mention to "I Am An Ordinary Person", which is definitely on my playlist now). Sure, the cliffhanger ending might not be everyoneโs favorite, but itโs clearly setting up the next season. As long as it doesnโt pull a #JoyOfLife and disappear for years, weโre good!

Along with so many popular K-Dramas, 2024 also brought us some incredible Korean movies! Whatโs your favorite theatrical release from last year?

#GuardiansOfTheDafeng, premiered yesterday, starring #DylanWang and #TianXiWei as the leads.
I still can't stop laughing at some of the scenesโdidn't expect it to be such a wild ride! ๐
Just finished watching the first four episodes, and I have to say, itโs been a pleasant surprise. Going in, I assumed it might be a serious Xianxia drama, but it's anything but that. It's absolutely hilarious, and there wasnโt a single moment when I wasnโt laughing my heart out!
The show shares a similar premise to #LoveGameInEasternFantasy, and itโs been equally entertaining so far. Dylan Wangโs comic timing is spot-on, and the supporting cast, especially the family members, is simply perfect. ๐ค

It is a 34-episode historical drama with a setting reminiscent of SOKP and The Double. The first 16 episodes are already out, and theyโve been absolutely perfect! The chemistry between #LiYunRui and #MengZiYi is top-notch, the pacing is spot-on, and the direction and cinematography are simply stunning. If #Blossom ends well, this could easily sit alongside #TheDouble as one of the best of the year. You can watch it on Tencent, WeTV, iQIYI, or Viki (depending on your region).

With 6 episodes total (4 released so far), #FamilyMatters shares similarities with #Moving and #TheAtypicalFamily in its superpowered family storyline. However, itโs darker and even funnier than both! Featuring a seasoned cast with #BaeDooNa and #RyuSeongBeom, the sibling dynamic between #Solomon and #LeeSuHyun is the cherry on top. Unfortunately, itโs not yet available outside Korea, but letโs hope an international streaming platform picks it up soon. In the meantime, add this gem to your "To Watch List"โyou wonโt regret it!
