Welcome to the Nishna Valley Model Railroad Society, the Nishna Valley is a HO Scale Railroad that was established in 1990 and is located at the Shelby County Fairgrounds in Harlan Iowa. The purpose of the Nishna Valley is to promote the great world of Model Railroading for kids and adults and to also provide a look at the actual real world of Railroading through railroading artifacts and photo's from todays modern diesels to the world of steam locomotives. The following videos show the Nishna Valley Model Railroad scenery at different views and the different types of motive power that run on this fine layout, and questions about the Nishna Valley are always welcome.
