For over 4 months now, Indian wrestlers, including Olympic medalists have been protesting against the Wrestling Federation Of India's Chief, Brij Bhushan for alleged sexual harassment of female coaches and wrestlers.
While India inaugurated its new parliament building on 28th May 2023, the wrestlers were detained as they attempted to march to the parliament. As of today, several top Indian wrestlers, including Sakshi Malik and Bajrang Punia, have been charged with rioting and disorder by police for their march to the parliament in search of justice.
