This is for all the speculation and queries about THE PICKUP ARTIST going directly to OTT platforms (after our 3rd April release had to be postponed) when the big guns are moving in that direction thereby disrupting the morale and future of Indian Cinema altogether.
THE PICKUP ARTIST is a movie primarily made for Cinemas, is enjoyed best in Cinemas (being an immersive movie) and in all possibility will be released first in Cinemas in India even if we have to wait for a few more months. We are in constant touch with our theatrical distributor VKAAO with PVR CINEMAS.
These are unprecedented circumstances and we are all in it together. Filmmakers, Distributor and Exhibitors need to stick together and put a united stand. For us all to emerge victorious, we need to act with patience and not panic.
THE PICKUP ARTIST might not be the mainstream big starrer weekend crowd-puller but we are with the Cinemas and will hold on to a theatrical release.
