This is the collection of historic works from incredible family of artists and technologists from Pacific Data Images (PDI) located in the heart of Silicon Valley One of the earliest 3D Computer Animation Studio in the world. It was founded in 1980 by Carl Rosendal and entered the 3D CG space when he was joined by Richard Chuang and Glenn Entis at the beginning of 1982. The studio grew on its own success until DreamWorks Animation acquired the studio in 2000 to become PDI/DreamWorks after the successfully completion of its first CG animated film Antz. Glenn left for a long and successful journey in the game industry in 1994. Carl left after he sold the company to DWA right before the premiere of the first Shrek movie in 2001. Richard finally departed in 2008 after leading DWA's reach across the globe. The studio was finally closed by DWA in 2015, 35 years after its founding. This is a tribute to the dedication and collaboration of everyone who passed through PDI.
