Happy Monday! Had some beautiful (but also kinda freaky) weather here today so I went on a walk with a friend and had a little chat about spring cleaning that got me curious... when "clearing" a space, do you cleanse it or physically clean it first? I've heard so many different opinions about this!

Today is my birthday and I felt like showing off my true colors! 🌈 As many of you may know, I see auras. Not just around people, but also animals, plants, and “inanimate” objects. I also see colors around mountains, forests, bodies of water, and even city skylines. Sometimes it 💥 POPS 💥 while other times it’s 🌬 subtle. I have learned to focus my vision between the “physical” and “energetic”, but when I first started seeing colors around 22 (TEN years ago now?!) it was VERY distracting. I actually met with my psychologist at the time to make sure something wasn’t “wrong” with me. 🙃 For a long time it was strange to see a more colorful version of reality than most others... like living in a world that most people around me could barely feel, much less see. There were times I felt crazy and isolated.
I can see beauty in everyone and everything… and that is an indescribable gift. But to be honest, at this point, it all feels relatively mundane most days. It’s WILD that I get to share this beauty as part of my job, and frequently reminds me how just vibrant this life is every time I read for someone. It’s glorious beyond words to witness when something I say literally causes someone to light up and click a vital part of them into place. 🧩

I wanted to thank everyone for the support, prayers, and donations this past month! We’ve had plenty of scary moments along the way (including a euthanasia appointment on the ready), but I’m beyond grateful to share that Benny is responding well to his meds and his recent blood results have been great! He has been ravenously hungry and is putting on some much-needed weight. Our little guy has returned to his usual routines, greeting us at the door, and snuggling up for bedtime.
My partner recorded me performing reiki on Benny and noticed an orb following my hand positions. What’s especially wild to me is that I typically perceive reiki as turquoise! I was honestly a bit surprised he sat down, and even moreso seemed to enjoy the session, as he tends to be pretty fussy and doesn’t like to stay in one place very long! My partner and I had to take our cat to the emergency vet following a seizure, and received the sad news that our sweet little guy has kidney failure and we are pretty much at end of life care.
