I love card games of all types, and this weekend I'm celebrating the release of UNRIVALED, the third expansion for Alpha Clash by @risingempirestudios5505
They sent me a prerelease kit to open, and it's always fun to see how other trading card games handle things (especially compared to, you know, Magic)
So I was delighted to find a whopping TEN boosters in my kit, plus a participation promo of Lord Krung 🤩
I especially love the foil treatments in this game (and you get one in every pack!) Check out Clarity - I don't know how well it shows up in the picture, but the gold really pops on her hoop earring and the edges of her hair (not to mention the explosion next to her)!
Oh and Conquest is there because we're twins (he just needs a nice mustache and then he'll be perfect).
One of my packs had a copy of Linn, a very cool nanite cyborg bounty hunter character, plus a foil rare Morac, AND a foil Epic Torque.
And finally, in my last pack...an Iconic Rare Magnate!!! It's got the shiny artist signature and everything 🤯

Seems like a good day for a live stream, so I'll be kicking that off around 11am Eastern (about an hour from now, depending how long it takes me to shave my head, which you would think I'd be good at by now, but no).

In an ongoing effort to expand Magic Arcanum, I'm considering offering coaching sessions. Basically, you'd book me by the hour, and we could spend that time going over your deck list, playing games together on Arena for practice, workshopping your creative writing ideas, or just about anything else you think me and my mustache could help you with.
This would be judgement-free, and you set the pace. Want somewhere safe to ask questions about the fundamentals of the game without being embarrassed? Want someone to test your new brawl deck against who won't run out the timer on Arena? Or just want someone to vent to while jamming some pauper matches? I could be your guy!
Would you be interested in a service like this? If yes, what would you expect it to cost (per hour?) and how long would you expect a typical session to last?

Years ago I did a video showing a Superman themed Commander Deck for Dragon Shield, and this week they sent me some of their newest sleeves, which inspired me to pull up the old episode. I think it has aged pretty well! 😅
