Welcome to my channel,
I collect bayonets and metal detecting ground finds from World War 1 and World War 2. The bayonets I buy from fairs and the ground finds are from one of my many adventures on old battlefields. But there is only so much known about preserving them.
Everything I've learned, I learned myself by making lots of mistakes. Now, 10 years later, I wish to share my experience and teach a bit about the History of the things I preserve. Preserving is something else than restoring, I wish to keep the object in as much of it's present state as possible but also making it historical correct without too many drastic changes.
