I can't wait to pursue these magnificent animals. The satisfaction of public land hunting can't ever be beat. Here's to this 2025 season. Wish everyone the best of luck. God bless and stay active yall...

Found this buck last season and stayed following him since. (Mr. Interruption buck) Definitely a shooter. Target buck#2 located. Good luck this season everyone. This is why we scout.

And the chase begins on public land. All those miles. 3am mornings, the ticks, chiggers, the miles walked in the storms and rain. The absolute hell we put ourselves through climbing these ridges just to hop down the other side to climb another. Exhausted, tired, 2nd guessing life choices... It's worth it though. Stay grinding fellas. I can relax just a little knowing I found my target buck. Here's to this season. Best of luck everyone. Check out that extra growth on his tine. What a stud.

Almost finished up. The history I had this season with this particular buck. Poetic ending how I ended up not only finding him but ended up with him. After sitting over this buck 4 times, getting to watch and observe this buck each time, I knew he was gonna be a toad next season and if he made it I was gonna get over him opening bow and bring him home. Sadly, I found him laid up 500+yards from where I consistently got over him. Found him 1 month after season ended while I was out squirrel hunting. It's a shame who ever shot him never found him. It happens. These are powerful animals. I plan to print out his picture from a video and put it next to his mount. A great example of a east Tn buck on public land.

Had a blast scouting today. Walked deep, found plenty of fresh sign and largest dead head to date. Can't wait for next season

Beautiful animal. Young male. Saved someone's chickens this winter and countless turkeys.

Still living I'm the moment. Woke up sick thid a.m. 5-630 non stop puking. Being stubborn man i am i cant pass up my last day of hunting before going back to work...
This wma has whooped me all last season and beginning of this season. Those thermals will get you ever time till you figure them out and how those bucks use em. Stepped back for 2-3weeks. Dug into learning thermals, how they're used by bucks, how wind and weather can effect them and then compared all that info based on the prior buck movement I've seen amd got on cameras, times ect. Down to the T apparently. 3 days in a row I've seen buck movement all at the same time each day. Day 1. Got my 6pt, walking in at 8am. Hit at 8:05am.
Day2 lopsided 3 pt walked in at 9am. Watched and let him walk.
Day 3 i planned to take the 3pt based on bad genetics if given the opportunity, instead God blessed me with a bigger body spike.
Since learning this I've picked 2 bucks off in 3 days. Haven't seen anything all oct, educated myself then rolled the dice to take these 3 days off of work this week and it paid off. Huge risk but was all worth it. If you want it bad enough and you apply yourself. You'll get it sooner or later. Me personally I'm never this lucky. Never. Now I got 3 more doe to drop in the next 2 weeks before muzzle then I got 4 more to take after that. All glory goes to God gentlemen. His will and my faith in him made it all possible. the smiles in these photos are the real trophy's. These memories will stick with me forever and it's bringing my daughter 1 step closer to following in my foot steps. Gonna make a saddle hunting southern belle put of this little lady yall just Wait and see
