I highly advise this @LegendofTotalWar clip from his latest stream, from 6:43:26, where he perfectly summarises the current situation of Total War Pharaoh.
I think it is a must watch to get a real idea of what is happening.

Total War Saga Pharaoh releases tomorrow. DO NOT BUY IT!!!
The Creative Assembly is releasing the game with pre-order DLC. This is the first time they have done it on this level.
Why are they doing this?
Because they know the game is trash and won't sell DLC post-launch. They are trying to sell it now, knowing the worst is still to come, with vague descriptions of what is included, so they can kill the game early and release trash DLC that people have already paid for.
Therefore, CA's marketing is telling you the game is trash.
Why would you buy this, when CA themselves, through 'strategic marketing,' are telling you not to.

+ Historical fans should want this to fail as it is not the true, realistic, logical, strategic historical we are looking for.
Warhammer fans should want this to fail, as if Pharaoh is successful, then CA has more incentive to cut WH3's support. WH3 will be kept alive only until another game can out-perform it in sales.
We need it to fail, CA is saying it will fail, the Youtubers who played it are risking their early access to tell you it is going to fail.
