Bengaluru City has banned all the taxi aggregator apps like Ola, Uber and Rapido from providing auto rickshaw services anymore,

It is said that the auto rides booked on the apps were very expensive and the Karnataka government expects autos to have standardized fares,

Do you think rest of the cities in India should follow Bengaluru and ban these apps from providing auto rickshaw services? 👀

Let's take a look at the revenue methods of Telegram. (the popular messaging app)

Telegram was launched in 2013 by two Russian brothers Nikolai and Pavel Durov. It has more than 500M monthly active users as of January 2021.

However, you will be shocked to know that the company has yet to generate any money. It is currently supported through donations.

Pavel Durov, the company's co-founder, stated that he paid for the company's major expenses out of his personal funds.

Its co-founder Pavel Durov said that he has paid for the major expenses of the company from his personal savings.

In December 2020, its co-founder Pavel Durov shared a message on his public Telegram channel revealing his plans to monetize the service.

Here are some points as he said - We are not going to sell the company like the founders of Whatsapp. Telegram is here to stay for a long time.

We will start generating revenue but all the current free features will be free forever and most users will hardly notice any change.

There will be no ads in private or group chats. We will introduce our ad platform for public one-to-many channels.

The owners of these big channels will also receive benefits from our ads but we will never compromise with user privacy or data. That's Telegram Way.

Can Women become better investors than men?

“To make money from the stock market, you need an average man’s intelligence, but ten men’s patience.”

Therefore, potentially they can be great investors. What is lacking is financial literacy among women. Also, women are good at saving money. It has been historically proven.

Women also tend to avoid risky investments which protect them to avoid huge losses.

While being good in savings and investing, very few women invests in the Stock Market. The majority of women, even the highly educated and qualified ones, leave investment decisions to the male relatives whom they trust.

The reason behind this is lack of financial literacy and lack of awareness of the stock market among them.

So, I must suggest to all the women that they should start investing in the stock market.
Yes, you can do better than the men.

All the women out there,
Excited?

"NO STOCK TO BUY"
What to do?

People are saying that they are not able to find any value in the stock market as everything is just a bubble. The simple answer to this is, holding cash is the best option they can go with.

When cash pays nothing and stocks have a higher chance of losing. Nothing beats losing.

People have a natural instinct to act if they have spent 100s of hours working on something. However, you have to act when prices are expected to rise or fall, not once you have completed your homework. The market is not waiting for you to complete your homework for the prices to go up or down.

Continue to do your work of finding great investment opportunities. But if the prices are not right, and there is no margin of safety, don’t act.

Why no one can beat Warren Buffett

Jim Simons, the founder of the hedge fund Renaissance Technologies, has compounded money at 66% annually since 1988.

From 1968 to 2011, Carl Icahn compounded the initial $100,000 he invested in his Wall Street firm at a 31% annual rate.

George Soros managed the Quantum Fund, a fund that achieved an average annual return of 30% from 1970 to 2000.

But Buffett is the richest investor of all time. He’s not actually the greatest — at least when measured by average annual returns. Warren Buffett has compounded at roughly 22% annually. But when it comes to net worth, none of them is close to Warren Buffett.

Because Buffett began investing when he was 11 years old and he is still going strong at the age of 91, so he earned 20% average annual returns for 80 years.

Effectively all of Buffett’s financial success can be tied to the financial base he built in his teenage years and the longevity he maintained in his elderly years.

As they say, his skill is investing but his secret is time.

Why Facebook changed its name

Facebook's rebranding’ isn’t just a change in the company name but a reflection of the company’s growing ambitions and focus on a new area: metaverse.

In metaverse, you can attend a virtual concert, take a trip online, view or create artwork and try on or buy digital clothing. Think of it as the internet brought to life, or at least rendered in 3D

This term was first used in Neal Stephenson's cult science-fiction novel Snow Crash in 1992.

According to Zuckerberg, it's a "virtual environment" that you can enter instead of just staring at on a screen. It's basically a universe of infinite, interconnected virtual communities where people can meet, work, and play.

In the metaverse, services could be offered virtually in exchange for other assets or cryptocurrencies.
