My sixteenth year was a journey, in the midst of isolation since 2020 I saw myself without any layer of smoke for the first time in a long time, and I realized that I had to fix something, many musical works that I had were deleted and I started right from the start. "give me time" was the conclusion of a moment in my life in which I understood that I didn't have to know everything, that I had to let myself rest for a moment and admire a little of what I already had. in 2021 I was able to meet friends again, whether it had been a trip or at school. 1. travel, the great inspiration of the project, I went out as much as I could, I contemplated the skies as much as I could, the trees inspired me and the people who accompanied me are the ones that I really thank. 2. school, I never thought it was going to impact me as much as it did, I missed it so much when I was a kid, when my worries were having a DJ table lol. I give a big thanks to the teachers who inspired me and pushed my creativity even more, thanks to them the 3 minute monologue exists lol. the scenes that I set to understand myself were increasingly contemplative and with less action. I let my emotions flow, wrap me up, destroy me with everything, pick me up from the crumbs and take me back to who I was. That's when I knew I was stuck and didn't realize it.
I still find myself re-listening to it several times, and I know that it was what I had to do, with the mistakes that the album has, I don't regret what I did, because I can't change it anymore, that's what I was and that's what I wrote. thanks to this album I was able to understand myself more, have a bit of empathy and I learned to contemplate my life.
Thank you very much to everyone who listened, those who didn't listen, those who published it, those who didn't stop listening a year later.
sounds like an acceptance speech lmao, but I want to thank Simon, for being a great companion, Zarmi, who I write with a z because I feel like it and because he is my greatest inspiration, Ana, for always listening and directing my creativity, to Piti and to the idiots (u know who u are), for being my base and putting up with me while I made jokes about wanting to die, to the great professors Rubén and Leidy for pushing me to write and feel better with my own style. obviously and always, to my mom, my dad, my sister, my cousin, my legendary and unforgettable Thomas who always took me out of the house to contemplate.
