been a little bit but I hope you all enjoyed 100K! Doing this tournament has given me an idea that can go wrong very quickly...
What if i let you decide my opponents for a GT4 playthrough?
So that means you can completely softlock me from the beginning by making the minolta a Sunday Cup opponent, or abuse loopholes that the player in GT4 has been able to use for years
The only rules for your cars are:
-They must follow the regulations for the event youre making them for (tyre type, specific cars, hp restrictions, length, etc)
-Also no hybrids this time!
-You can make as many cars as you like for any event in the career (including special conditions WHICH HAVE NO RESTRICTIONS LMAO, one makes, regional events) just a heads up that i wont be using every event outside of the main career
the only consolation is that no one can enter a Nardo or Cien concept into the supercar challenge anymore :))))

Poll results are in and good news for our redemptionists, you can rework your car and transform it into something the world isnāt ready to seeā¦ the only rule is that you must keep the car you originally chose as well as the colour etc.
As for engine swaps, drivetrain, upgrades, you can change any of that as long as it follows the original rules
If you have no idea what to do you could give me your blessing to carry out some changes lol

Thanks for watching our first 3 parts of the 100K Tournament!
As we now know a selection of cars did not make the 10 points mark but there still is the redemption roundā¦
For this round though, I have thought about giving all redemption participants the chance to rework their cars (allowing them to change engines/drivetrain/setups basically everything apart from their car) within budget. As well as this reducing the Buick Specialās nerf price to 10k rather than 20k
I made a poll for this to see whatās everyoneās thoughts are, thats all for now!

Super close now to getting everyones cars done for the tournament! all 42 cars have been made but theres around 7 which need a bit of tweaks so they can make the budget
ive been trying to make everyones cars and pointing out any issues as quick as possible but ive been pretty busy this week so lots of my responses have been days late, if ive replied to you about your car it should appear in your notifications. most things are just minor adjustments to make your car within budget but there are some which need some reworking. i'll leave it a couple of days but if theres no response i'll tune them myself so they work. When this post is 1 day old the video will be uploaded and ive tried to get it so timezones arent horrible for everyone but there might be some early mornings or late nights here and there sadly
If you have any questions about anything ask here ig, also if you havent seen the rules check the last post where there have been some updates to certain things
Finally I discovered something about used cars which makes calculating a bit weirder, so basically I canāt edit the odometer on ai cars to match the used ones, along with rigidity, oil, engine wear etc. So basically if you get a used car it will appear new in the tournament. This might change some engine swap calculations that youāve already done (usually its by 1000cr or less so no biggie). Anyway yeah if this effects your car donāt worry Iāll be able to sort things out so that everything works

The people have spoken, its now the time for me to trust you all with 100,000cr to go out and find a car in gt4 and transform it into a track weapon!
Things are gonna be different to other tournaments as I am giving the rules out before the announcement just so people can prepare themselves, as this tournament actually has some rules which balance every scenario including swapping engines and drivetrainā¦
Lets start with engine swapping, so yes you can buy engines from other cars within budget but there is some maths involved sadly. Imagine you buy a Lotus Elise and wish to swap in the engine from the ford gt, which makes 550hp, first we have to convert the 550hp into a decimal so that means we divide the power output by 1000, or just move the decimal before 550, so it comes out as 0.550
OR THE EASIER WAY YOU CAN JUST MULTIPLY THE ENGINE SWAP CARS POWER BY 100 (550x100, = 55,000
Then we take the base number of 100,000 and multiply it by 0.550 (or whatever power your engine swap is), this comes out at 55,000cr
Ok now this seems too OP, however there is one more rule called the weight tax, basically taxing you for being healthy or anorexic which doesnt sound good, and it isnt. So the lotus comes in at 670kg and the engine swap at 55,000cr, so we divide the 55,000 by the cars weight in decimal, so 0.670, so the total cost of the engine swap is around 80k, not including the cars base price. This wonāt be allowed ofc
-If your car weighs below 1000kg you have to apply this tax
-if you engine swap, all NA tune/Supercharge/Turbo/Intercooler upgrades are multiplied by 2
-all stage 3/4/5 NA/Turbo upgrade prices are discounted by 20,000cr (I will link a forum post with GT4ās upgrade prices but keep in mind the prices differ from different cars, I will help go over that dw)
DRIVETRAIN:
āForza rulesā so basically you cannot change the position of your engine, so a FWD Front engine Civic canāt be swapped to being Mid or rear engined, but can be 4WD or RWD with the engine at the front
-Drivetrain swaps cost 10,000cr
DEALERSHIP CHANGES:
-Nearly all cars at the new dealers are discounted by 10,000cr!
-All of them except 2, the Buick Special and HPA Golf, which are both still allowed but are 20,000cr more expensive than their base price
-Prize cars can be used! the prices from GTPSP will be used but with the extra 10k discount applied, I will link the gtpsp car list in the comments
-Classic car price changes, do you wanna use the camaro ss or dodge charger? well now you can with this new discount! This applies to every car below 1980 EXCEPT BUICK SPECIAL lmao, so you get the cars base price then do the 10k discount as normal, then divide the resulting number by 2.54 (its simulating used car prices) so the charger for example. Was 75,500, now 65,500, divide by 2.54, now is around 25000
MISC RULES:
-Downforce can be bought for 1,200cr for every car no matter if you can put a wing on it or not
-Limit for downforce is 30 (same as normal)
-NO tire restrictions this time! Tires are now a part of you budget and thereās none off limits, just be careful with super softs as there will be tire wear in the tournament at some point :)
-rims do not cost anything
-everything else I didnāt touch on is the same as vanilla gt4 so go wild
Srry about the wall of text, i tried to make the rules as simple as possible but there was always just 1 car which broke the BOP and i had to rework something, but this time hopefully everything is covered
