Risks:

Thereā€™s something about taking a leap (literal or metaphorical) that is so damn rewarding.

Itā€™s hardly even about the outcome - I often find a sense of relief and expansion purely from the decision, rather than the outcome.

Holding on and standing still causes stagnancy, and itā€™s hard to grow if you arenā€™t willing to tap into the potential within you.

Is there something that you've been putting off because it's too "risky"? I'd love to hear your story below :)

You must discipline yourself to create a life that excites you by:

Trying new things and accepting that some wonā€™t work

Risking embarrassment and being misunderstood

Facing financial uncertainty

By embracing these challenges, you open yourself to limitless growth ā€” financially, emotionally, and through lifeā€™s experiences.

Leave a comment and let me know the ways you are disciplining yourself, and any questions you may have.

Hustle culture is silly.

If youā€™re putting in hours but not seeing results, youā€™re probably focusing on the wrong things.

In 2018, my first attempt at a business was a mindfulness blog.

I wrote for hours a day, felt busyā€¦ but only 4 people (my friends, thanks FB) actually read it.

After a few months, I learned that blogging wasnā€™t the best way to build an audience at the time.

Now? I can spend 10 minutes filming a video in a field, speaking about something I'm interested in and thousands watch it.

Itā€™s not about working moreā€”itā€™s about taking high-leverage actions.

When it comes to organic traffic, YouTube is in, blogs are out.

Time spent rarely correlates with results. Itā€™s the potency of the action that counts, not the hours you put in.

Youā€™re part of the problem.

If you donā€™t go to the supermarketā€¦ donā€™t be shocked if thereā€™s no food in your house.

If you donā€™t tell someone how much youā€™d like to be paid for your workā€¦ donā€™t be shocked if they mention a figure thatā€™s far less than what you want.

If you donā€™t tell someone your romantic intentions toward themā€¦ donā€™t be shocked if your connection never progresses beyond friendship.

If you donā€™t tell people about your services or productsā€¦ donā€™t be shocked if nobody buys from you (artists, Iā€™m looking at you too).

Yes, there are factors outside of your controlā€¦

And itā€™s also true that people spend too much time and energy dissatisfied with life because they donā€™t have the things they never even asked for in the first place.

Mantra for the day:

Make more mistakes.

The more often I fail, the more I learn about the thing I'm attempting to do.

The more often I upset people, the more I learn about myself and others.

The more often I get things wrong, the more humility I cultivate...

... all of which lead to growth, expansion & awareness.

Have a good'n!

During a period of growth, itā€™s likely youā€™ll feel constricted. Your outer world hasnā€™t shifted to accommodate your inner world. Be patient and trust the process youā€™re in, as soon the shell of your current reality will dissolve as you grow into your next phase.

What are you growing through right now? Whatā€™s changing? Lemme know in the comments ā™„ļø

Do your best and then let it go.

Then, repeat.

The results of your actions aren't yours to decide - there are too many factors involved beyond you.
