Mac Dej is a conscious street rapper. She was arrested at the age of 19 years-old, for a felony conviction and sentenced to 12 years in the state penitentiary. Although she’s been rapping since the age of 13 years old ; after being in prison and not being able to record music, she finally has the opportunity to share her testimonial story and gift with the world. Her heartfelt delivery, rhythmic flow, fluctuating tones, and lyrical ability is just the refresher this generation needs to catapult the narrative for future up-and-coming artists.
