A wrought iron gate I made from very old wheel bands and a horse cart axle! It took 7 weeks to forge and assemble. The old iron, textured from years of erosion by the elements, is still very heavy and solid, and I love the natural aesthetic!
I often feel guilty when I need to work late in the evenings to get things done, so I promised my son Iād chisel his name into the gate. When he gets bigger and hopefully has kids of his own, he can show them that his dad made this gate š.

One of the best things about being a blacksmith is the endless creativity it allows. With a bit of imagination, we can forge anything!
With that in mind, what would you like to see in a future video?
