Ok this is book 3 of the Gourney series and imo the best one. This book is also quite popular and actually almost got this channel banned before so i am not taking any chances streaming this one. As for book 4 we shall see.

Ok you danger surfers, so i got a question for you regarding these books. Nathan McBride is a man who bends the rules for the right reasons. In Book 1 he had an interesting conversation with the FBI man asking for approval to do an "anything goes interrogation". The FBI politely explained that we have rules for a reason. To which McBride replied that: "Life is not as simple as a book of rules". However as good as this sounds in a thriller, is it such a good idea in real life? The rules MUST include all situations, and they are there so no individual can bend them. But they do get bent especially in private and in deniable ops (such as the story of N.McBride).
So the question i have for you is this. Is there a time when rules must be broken? But if so who is to say who is allowed to break them? Nathan McBride tells the FBI man that he can "trust him to do the right thing". But isn't this precisely why rules in these situations were made? To not give trust to any individual but to make rules that cover all individuals equally? Well so it is time to make your decision:
