Angelica Vila is a Bronx-born R&B artist known for her soulful vocals, heartfelt songwriting, and unshakable work ethic. Raised by a single mother who worked multiple jobs, Vila channels that same hustle into her music.
She started writing songs at 11 and gained early attention through viral covers on YouTube and Instagram — leading to co-signs from Fat Joe and Jay-Z, as well as signing to Fat Joe’s label in partnership with Roc Nation.
Now an independent artist, she’s leveled up creatively — engineering her own vocals, recording from home, and working with Grammy-winning producers Brody Brown and KP2Global on her new single “Claim It.” Influenced by legends like Mary J. Blige, Faith Evans, Avant, and Ciara, Vila blends classic R&B with her own modern twist, inspired by both English and Spanish sounds (including her favorite salsero, Yiyo Sarante).
Passionate, self-made, and community-focused, Vila is building a legacy rooted in talent, grit, and giving back.
