Hello world, I've just spent 2 amazing weeks at The Animation Workshop, teaching concept art & visual development to some amazing students. During the weeks we had a mix of demos and lectures and among those lectures we talked about something I have a strong passion for, design.
Design is such an abstract concept in many ways, yet we have to master it to be effective at our work. But often a lot of the more complex design happens based on intuition and gut feeling rather than precisely callibrated instruments and tools.
Well, I have always found it fascinating to try and give word and defintion to what is going on and on this thursday, at 20:00 (CET), I am gonna give a FREE 2 hour live lecture on visual design. In the first half I will be going through the fundamentals of visual design, and in the second half we will be exploring a new way of abstracting the tools we have available as visual designers.
