Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to watch and comment on my videos. I really appreciate your contribution however, forgive me if I don’t give a detailed response. I am starting to receive a large amount of comments and messages and I just don’t have the time to respond to each and every one in detail. Back in the day I collected only Hip Hop records. Over time I learnt that these records contained breakbeats and samples from older records which eventually made me appreciate the original recordings from which these samples came. Over time I slowly parted with my record collection however, fast forward to now and I am collecting again and this time my taste is more eclectic and I find myself being exposed to records I would never have entertained before.
Often when I buy records and post them up on YouTube I get asked the same questions again and again. How do you not know this group and how can you not remember this song, well the truth is until now most of these records and artists were not on my radar and it’s my first time owning or hearing them.
Next time you watch one of my videos and you hear me sounding vague, mispronounce a group or artist or read the year of release from the cover I hope you forgive me as I still have much to learn on my musical and YouTube journey.
