I'm graduating college in under a month (wow that's strange to say). I know I've been much less active over the past few years, but I'm glad to share that the activity drop-off occurred because I've been making the absolute most of my college experience. However, now that it's coming to an end, I'm looking forward to making more content!!
Many things have happened in the GD community while I've been busy researching worms (yep, that's what I've been doing). For that reason, I want to hear from you all. What do you want to see from me? Are there any new challenges or levels you want to see me try? Share your thoughts! Getting back into the swing of things honestly scares me a bit since I feel like I've fallen behind, so hearing from you all would be extremely helpful.

I realize Iām a few days late, but I wanted to take some time to reflect on the 10-year anniversary of Geometry Dash and how special this game and its community is.
Back in middle school - probably in 2014, if I had to guess - I saw someone on the bus playing a game on their phone that intrigued me. I downloaded the free version pretty much immediately and convinced my parents to buy me the full version soon after because I wanted to create some levels of my own (they were very bad). I was extremely aware of the 1.9 and 2.0 updates - I remember waking up and immediately beating Blast Processing so Iād beat one of my friends at school in a race! Back in those days the game was so simple to me, but the communityās talent blew me awayā¦ I remember many custom levels from this time fondly, such as Death Moon, which I spent an entire 10-hour car ride trying to beat (and still fell short somehow).
Anyhow, my interest in the game eventually faded until 2.1 released. I found myself watching content creators such as Etzer and GD Colon whose videos never failed to make me laugh, and I realized that I wanted to be just like themā¦ so I started making content of my own for a very small (but wonderful) audience. My older videos are certainly not ones Iād consider myself proud of, but I look back on them with so much joy and I remember the excitement I felt creating and posting them. Every comment and interaction with my viewers was so personal and I was thrilled that people were enjoying my work!!
I then began to meet people and make friends. Surprisingly, one of the first was none other than GD Colon, who had found my content through one of my close friends (Jaden, if anyone happens to remember that name). I was SO excited that one of my biggest inspirations liked my work!! To this day I am still so grateful that Colon and I are friends; heās a great person and a phenomenal content creator even still.
Over time I gained a larger audience and had to adjust to that reality which was both exciting and overwhelming. I went through many different āerasā, so to say - the āin a nutshellā videos, the PNG animations (like Hooneeper and Foob), and even the occasional stream highlights video (though those looked much different in 2017-2018 then they do now!)
On the topic of streaming - I had dabbled in it occasionally, and eventually found the confidence to reveal my voice and face to the Internet, despite fear of the repercussions. There has always been something so enjoyable about sharing an afternoon or evening playing GD while interacting with live chat. I love learning about you all and speaking with you whenever possible!
Streaming became a big thing for me, especially during 2020-2021 when I spent a lot of time at home (like everyone else, probably). Fun Juniper fact that some people donāt know - I used to stream entirely on YouTube, but switched platforms because I got a copyright claim in March 2020 that banned me from streaming for 3 months and I couldnāt bear the thought of not going live for that long!! During this time I met so many amazing people, many of whom I still communicate with and some of whom I have fallen out of contact withā¦ but those memories still stick fondly in my heart.
In 2021 I also began college, which (as you probably know) made it much more difficult for me to create content frequently. Now, in 2023, the same has unfortunately proven trueā¦ but that doesnāt mean my love for the game, and my gratefulness for all it has given me, is any smaller.
So now that Iām done telling my story, I want to express my gratitude. Thank you to RobTop for developing this game and keeping up with rates/features/epics - I bet things would be a lot slower community-wise if those ever slowed down! Thank you to the people Iāve met who have supported me at any point in time, and the friends I have made through this game who have made my life so much more enjoyable. I love spending time with the people Iāve met through GD - you all are amazing. Thank you to everyone reading this right now for supporting me and my content creation endeavorsā¦ I feel like people sometimes forget that Iām just an average teenager (yup, Iām still technically a teenager) and Iām so incredibly grateful for the opportunities you all have given me by watching my content and lifting me up. āJuniperā would not exist without you.
I have grown so much thanks to Geometry Dash. This game and its community have helped me evolve from a shy, self-conscious high schooler to an outspoken and confident adult. I have met so many incredible people (including my partner for over two years - shoutout to Wulzy for being awesome) and made so many wonderful friends who have both laughed alongside me and helped me through difficult times. I am even able to attend my dream university because of the experiences Geometry Dash has given me - yep, seriously, I couldnāt have done it otherwise!
I sometimes wonder how many people have had similar experiences to me, and I have a feeling the number is high. I know that my life would be SO much different if I hadnāt downloaded GD, and chances are the same applies to you. How cool is it that we have all found each other through an unsuspecting rhythm-based platformer game?
Happy 10th birthday, Geometry Dash - thank you for watching this community grow up and developing many of us into who we are today.

Thank you all for supporting me this long and giving me this incredible opportunity.
I know that things have been slow from me recently, and I am sorry for that. College has been taking up an immense amount of my time, as I am taking many classes and working in a research lab. I am often so exhausted by the end of the day that I have no time for content creation (which is sad, because I genuinely miss it and wish I could do more). There's something special about interacting with this community, and although I am more inactive than I wish I was, I hope you all are still doing well and I'm so thankful for your patience.
Despite the infrequent uploads, I hope you still enjoy the silly adventures within them! I know my content is not as in-depth as it used to be, but that is unfortunately a side effect of not having as much time to put as much effort in as I'd like to. I never want to upload something that isn't entertaining, though; so hopefully the recent uploads have still been making you laugh :)
Although my low activity may imply that I've forgotten you all, the opposite is true. If you're reading this - hi! I hope you're doing well, and I'm grateful you're here.
If you're familiar with who I am, regardless of when you started watching my content - if you watched the parodies, the animations, the demon completions, or the stream highlights - you have shaped my journey, both as a content creator and as a person. I thank you for that.
Thank you for six amazing years - they've genuinely been more fulfilling than I could've ever imagined. Here's to our future as a community. ššš
