The Shey monastery and palace is located on a small hill 15 kilometers to the south of Leh, Ladakh.
The monastery lies on the Leh-Manali highway in Shey village. The main attraction of the monastery is the colossal statue of Shakyamuni Buddha made up of copper with gilded gold.

Earlier, Shey was the summer capital of Ladakh. The original palace of Lhachen Palgyigon (King of Ladakh) was built in this village in the 10th century.

Beetles Ashram is one of the must visits destination in Rishikesh. Entry Fees is 100 INR per person and is situated in outskirts of the main city. Its a 15 mins drive from Laxman Jhoola.

You will get to explore the ashram where students use to meditate. The name was taken from the the famous band called "Beetles" since the crew came there to meditate and lived there for quite a long time.
