[NOTE: People sometimes ask why I clear my throat so often when I am speaking. I have a condition called Hyperactive Airways, diagnosed when I was in my early 30s. It is the result of several years of inhaling perchloroethylene when I worked in a machine shop when I was in my 20s. It is not dangerous (nor contagious), just a little aggravating.
