[Survei Publikasi SMERU]
Bantu kami meningkatkan kualitas produk-produk publikasi SMERU dengan berpartisipasi dalam Survei Persepsi dan Harapan terhadap Publikasi The SMERU Research Institute.
Masukan dari rekan-rekan akan membantu kami mengevaluasi kualitas produk publikasi SMERU agar lebih mudah dibaca dan menjangkau berbagai pemangku kepentingan, terutama pembuat kebijakan.
Survei akan diperpanjang hingga 7 Juli 2023. Kami mohon kesediaan waktu rekan-rekan untuk mengisi survei yang memerlukan waktu tidak lebih dari 15 menit.
Sebagai apresiasi, sepuluh responden survei yang terpilih secara acak akan mendapatkan saldo e-wallet masing-masing sebesar Rp100.000.

Dalam rangka memperingati #22tahunSMERU, kami ingin menyoroti kembali hasil-hasil penelitian SMERU yang berdampak pada penyusunan kebijakan dan pernah memancing diskusi publik, salah satunya kertas kerja berjudul “Wage and Employment Effects of Minimum Wage Policy in the Indonesian Urban Labor Market” yang diterbitkan pada 2001.
Pada waktu itu, Indonesia baru mulai pulih dari krisis moneter 1997–1998 yang parah. Dalam kondisi tersebut, upah minimum pada 2000 dan 2001 naik tajam sehingga memberikan pengaruh yang besar terhadap pasar tenaga kerja dan perekonomian secara keseluruhan.
Kami membagi video ke dalam dua bagian. Video pertama mengupas tujuan pemerintah menetapkan sistem upah untuk pekerja serta komponen yang menjadi dasar penetapan upah minimum. Sementara, video kedua menceritakan penelitian tentang upah minimum yang dilakukan SMERU, mulai dari tujuan, metode penelitian, temuan, hingga rekomendasi penelitian.

Bagaimana peneliti menggali isu sensitif dalam pengambilan data?
Dalam menjalankan penelitian, terdapat banyak tahapan yang harus dilakukan, salah satunya adalah proses pengumpulan data. Sering kali, informasi yang dibutuhkan dalam penelitian bersifat sangat sensitif.
Ketika kami melakukan studi longitudinal akses perempuan miskin terhadap layanan umum, salah satu isu yang digali adalah soal KDRT. KDRT sendiri adalah isu yang sangat sensitif dan bisa menyulut emosi, baik bagi partisipan, pihak masyarakat yang terlibat, bahkan bagi peneliti itu sendiri.
Berdasarkan pengalaman, kami mencatat faktor-faktor penting yang perlu dipertimbangkan ketika meneliti atau menggali informasi sensitif.

Indeks Pembangunan Ekonomi Inklusif untuk Pertumbuhan Indonesia yang Lebih Berkualitas
Pertumbuhan ekonomi kerap menjadi indikator primadona yang menggambarkan keberhasilan suatu negara dalam mencapai kemakmuran. Pada 2019, dengan tingkat pertumbuhan ekonomi sebesar 5,8%, penduduk Jakarta secara rata-rata mengeluarkan 2,4 juta rupiah untuk memenuhi kebutuhannya. Namun, jika kita bergeser hanya 300 km ke arah Kota Tasikmalaya, apakah pengeluarannya akan sama?
Selama kurang lebih satu dekade terakhir sebelum pandemi, Indonesia memiliki tingkat pertumbuhan ekonomi yang stabil dan relatif tinggi. Dalam waktu yang sama, Indonesia juga berhasil menurunkan jumlah penduduk miskin. Namun, angka ketimpangan antarkelompok pendapatan belum menunjukkan progres yang menjanjikan.
Pada 2018, Kementerian PPN/Bappenas bersama The SMERU Research Institute (SMERU) meluncurkan Indeks Pembangunan Ekonomi Inklusif (IPEI) untuk mengukur tingkat inklusivitas pembangunan di Indonesia. Indeks ini disusun untuk mengukur dan memantau tingkat inklusivitas pembangunan Indonesia pada level nasional, provinsi dan kabupaten/kota.
