There's a shift that's taking place in the American health care system from a primary focus on treating individuals when they are sick and injured to establishing relationships between individuals and health care providers to manage overall health and well-being. Transforming Health is a broad-based, multimedia project, with the goal of presenting the policy and personal health choices we face in today's health system. By taking a closer look at health care, its quality and its costs, and the importance of maintaining health in the first place, through individual and collective action, we'll all be better prepared to face the rapidly approaching future of health in America and in Central Pennsylvania.
