Today was Bon Scott's birthday!
Bon came into my life completely out of the blue. I knew of his existence as a teen but had no interest. I even lived in Melbourne for 3 months in 2018 and had no awareness of AC/DC or Bon.
Out of nowhere, i started listening to a LOT of AC/DC in late 2022 and i realised what the lyrics were about for the first time 💀
I fell in love. He was unique, completely different from all the rockstars out there. You could always see him grin as he was saying the naughtiest things you could imagine! Bon loved women, and women loved him a lot. He was not a conventional beauty in any ways with his broken teeths, hairy chest and tattoos but he was so charming. What struck me, whether true or not was how happy he always seemed to be. Always smiling and having fun. He taught me to not take things too seriously, beleive it or not. Just calm down, have a glass of wine and laugh about it no matter how bad you feel.
He's taught me so many things,and showed me so much music!! I really want to explain that in a future podcast episode i am planning for my youtube channel!
I rarely see women nowdays talk about Bon, it seems to be mostly men wich is ok, but Bon would have loved that more girlies express their love for him, that i'm pretty sure!! He is still very loved and I will share, defend and talk about his legacy as long as I live.
I mean, everytime i've planned to make a video on a different topic for this channel something happens and my video crashes...i kid you not. It does not go through unless its related to Bon...not once did i plan on making a channel on him. It feels like the subject chose me, wich is very strange but I am extremely flattered. Bisous xxx
