Tariq Ellis aka T.E was born and raised in Hartford, Connecticut. Tariq grew up in a musically inclined family where he grew inspiration from his father who was a well known DJ in Jamaica. Music always played a vital part in his life as he grew up listening to a vast variety of music genres which helped inspire the young star to want to portray his art through his music. The upcoming artist showcased his singing and rapping talents throughout his life around his friends and family and many others that gained interest in his sound and art. T.E was recognized for his versatility with the voice of a sweet soft yet raspy impactful cadence when he first released the single “Cocaine,” back in January of 2019 from his ep, “Patience.” T.E is seen to be a promising star in the making and tells sources he’s strives to have an impact on the industry portraying his art,putting on for his city, and to put CT on the map and grow a massive fan base.
