Two beautiful wildflowers are currently blooming in the fallow fields of my farm in the hills of Appalachia. It's something for you to enjoy while my left wrist continues to heal. If you haven't checked out my other channel yet, now's a great time to do it. =) watch video on watch page

Health Update: I'm going back to the doctor today. Things are getting better, but I'm still not out of the woods after a setback Sunday evening. I'll be back as soon as possible, but it's going to take a bit longer. I hope you are all well, and I look forward to getting back into the swing of things!

OK, so now my "Virginia" is showing, for sure. One of the things I've been doing lately, especially during my convalescence from arthritis, is helping to roast some of this year's peanut crop. The first goobers came in not long ago, and the photo shows a few of them, fresh out of the oven. If you've never roasted peanuts, I'm happy to be the first to tell you that the smell as they are getting ready is unreal—probably just as appetite-inducing as fresh popcorn or fried onions, if not more so. 😋🥜 I wish I could share them with y'all.

*Heath update:* My left arm arthritis flare up is greatly reduced. I can use my left hand again for the most part. (It's still a bit stiff, but there's no pain to speak of.) I'm going to need a couple more days off at least. While I could play some games today that don't require much hand/finger movement, like _DCSS_ or _Blue Prince_, the medicine that I'm on right now is affecting my ability to maintain coherent commentary. (This post took half an hour to write, lol.) While I'm sure that could be entertaining, I've decided to take additional time to rest. I'm sure that investment will pay off.
Also, of highly important note, it's looking increasingly like action games that are PC-only and mouse and keyboard-only are going to be off limits to me, perhaps indefinitely. Sadly, that includes _Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines_ and _Kenshi_. Turn-based games like _DCSS_ are still OK, as is anything that uses a controller. My October special was going to be the highly anticipated VtMB Nosferatu run. Since my joints are not cooperating, that's not going to happen. Instead, I have something else planned that I think you will really enjoy. I don't want to spoil the surprise, so I'll just leave it at that for now. 🤫😁 Have a great day!

Hey everyone, I've got a little update for you. My arthritis is flaring up in my left wrist today, and I can't play games or edit video. Hopefully it'll only last one day, but it could be a few days before I'm able to work again. Sorry for the interruption, but my body just decides to fight me from time to time, and we just have to roll with it the best we can. Have a great day, all. I'll be fine eventually!

Hey folks! I've just uploaded a couple of new episodes of Fallout: New Vegas - Blind & Hardcore. Altogether they are a little over 1.5 hours combined, so you should have something decent to watch over the weekend! 😁 Whatever your weekend holds, I hope it's a great one. I may stream at some point this weekend, it depends on the weather. Keep an eye out. If nothing else, I'll see you Monday!
