So just to make things official, I'm currently making my own audio plugin! This isn't some kind of cheap cash grab where it's some rando writing the code/actually doing the work, and someone else just shills it; all the source code is written by yours truly. Some questions prospective users may have:
Q: What does this thing even do?
A: It's a combination of a multiband splitter, an extreme multiband compressor (stronger than OTT by a mile), and a multiband saturator with some fun modes. The splitter can be bypassed for single band mode, or used with either clean filters with little audible impact, or dirtier filters for some awesome phase distortion. The compressor is modeled on the DOOM compressor that Mick Gordon showed off once upon a time, and is one of the most unique sound design tools I've heard in awhile. Distortion is what you would expect; many of the algorithms are reminiscent of guitar pedals/dirty analog circuitry ala ye olde Quadrafuzz.
Q: Do you even use this thing.
A: Yes. Expect to hear a lot of it on upcoming music (wink wink).
Q: When does it come out?
A: TBD. Most of the actual programming is done, but still needs the finishing touches, anti piracy measures, a storefront, etc.
Q: How much for a copy?
A: TBD. Might release a free version with limited features.
Q: What genres is it useful for?
A: Anything that needs heavy grit and distortion. Darksynth, industrial, argent metal, french touch, it's all fair game.
Q: Why are you doing this?
A: Why not?

Quick update on life situation: I'm in the middle of finals season, but after that, work shall resume. Additionally, I've been working on the soundtrack for a game I've been developing for one of my classes. Expect to see that on here soon. Stay tuned.
