So split 1 of S14 ends tomorrow.
Did you all reach the ranks you've wanted?
For me, sadly, I've failed to finish challenger this split.
I've been maintaining 700~800lp GM on both my main and smurf since March
and my main was at 906lp GM just the day before yesterday..
I've done a nosedive into 532lp masters in just two days.
(Broke records for most lp dropped in the shortest time)
Though the cutoff for challenger has risen a bit at the moment,
I've been consistently 1 or 2 wins off challenger for the last few days.
That really pressured me into not playing my best game, I guess.
I've been really confident this season,
and I can't tell you how disappointed I am that I couldn't prove it with results.
I know a lot of you had expectations, cheering for me,
and I'm really sorry that I couldn't live up to them.
Still, I do think I know about matchups more than ever,
and I believe I've also refined my ability to read the game,
so rest assured... I can and will be back next split with good results.
Next split will start right off tomorrow,
so give me a few days to make some videos on the new split,
then I'll resume the video uploads starting this Sunday (May 19th KST).
One more thing, I'll be streaming live again tomorrow as well.

I am well aware that I am quite the opposite of what you would call a perfect person, and feel I get more love and attention than I deserve.
I've had my fair share of doubts and downs, and yet the reason I managed to persist is you guys, always cheering me on and watching me.
So, here is my biggest thanks to everyone who congratulated and subscribed to me!
To celebrate 100k subscribers, there will be some events coming up including a Q&A, face reveal and my silver play button unboxing video.
These will probably be up around late March to early April, and I will give updates as soon as my schedule gets fixed.
Please note there may be some minor changes.
On livestreaming, I'm planning to start again around mid-March, when I'll probably be streaming on both Youtube and Chzzk.

Itβs been a good 20 days since I last uploaded a video.
Some of you have been worrying if anything has happened to me
and some of you have been understandably upset that I just disappeared without any notice.
First up, Iβm really sorry that I havenβt been doing videos without putting up any notice.
I know that I exist as a Youtube figure only thanks to you guys watching me,
and yet Iβve grown complacent without considering what my viewers might be feeling, waiting for my videos in the dark.
I realize itβs already late, but I owe you an apology,
so let me go into depth on why I havenβt been able to upload any videos.
It started off pretty simple; I didnβt have anything worth uploading.
I had plenty of wins but either didnβt have really impactful moments,
or didnβt have much to do commentary on.
So I figured a bit more grinding would solve the case.
Days went by without any meaningful breakthrough, though.
I just wasnβt getting that feeling of carrying games on my own.
I used to have that game plan where I would proactively plan out games from laning phase, and win games where my team would make mistakes but I would persist, doing the most optimal plays for the momentβ¦
and I found myself completely failing time and time again.
Maybe it was because of the Zed chain nerfs, or W max build being unviable, but I just forgot my own playstyle and got trapped inside my head.
Time passed by and it was already in the middle of December
when I realized that split 2 was coming to a close.
And looking back at myself, I was left with remorse;
my skills werenβt what they used to be and Youtube uploads had stopped.
Skill-wise, since I started my Youtube channel,
Iβve been reaching challenger every season, maintaining GM at my lowest,
so I figured I was consistently improving.
However, since Iβve been almost perma stuck masters this split 2,
I could feel my skills reaching rock bottom.
That leaded to me not uploading anything even though there were some worth showing you.
I used to prioritize Youtube uploads even if my elo took a dip,
thinking Iβd bounce right back up,
but had lost that confidence.
I do believe my gameplay has turned extremely bad as well.
Iβve always thought of my channel identity as educational
but since the basis for that, my skill, has deteriorated,
I just didnβt have the courage to keep uploading.
So I put it all aside and focused on soloq for a while.
Trying to remind myself what playstyle fitted me the best,
trying different builds and macro,
going through my replays win or loseβ¦
The result, although it might be short-lived, is that I regained my confidence.
Doesnβt mean that I climbed significantly or that I reached challenger.
In fact I donβt even know if Iβll reach challenger once before the end of season.
That doesnβt mean Iβm giving up, though.
Iβm going to focus on soloq till the very last day of this season to achieve anything worthwhile.
Think Iβll instantly resume uploading if I manage to hit challenger,
and if not, Iβll probably start when the new season comes live.
I wanted to write this once I hit challenger,
but letβs face it, I donβt even know if I can do that,
and since itβs been well more than half a month since I just disappeared,
I realized this wasnβt the right thing to do to my viewers even if I managed to regain my skills.
So this is your deserved, albeit late, apology.
Once again, I sincerely apologize for not letting you know in advance.
