Local meet up this week in San Francisco! @barnaclefoods is visiting the bay from Alaska and we're throwing a little get together. Thank you 600k subs! Come on a 3 day catch and cook trip with me on a boat! I've planned a lobster freediving/fishing trip out of santa barbara, CA for Oct. 16-19th. We will be living on a big 85' boat called vision in the channel islands. The boat sleeps 30 people but we are capping it at 18 of you! It's a very short notice but if you can make it, it will be the most epic trip yet. We will be freediving for spiny lobster, sea urchin, scallops and many more that can be caught freediving 5'-25'. We will also be fishing off the boat for rockfish and halibut. Plus a potential for some late season pelagic fish like yellowtail. The boat has a big kitchen and communal space which will be used to have a workshop on cooking our catch! Followed by the most epic meal on a boat!! No freediving experience required but harvest will depend on skill. Must bring your own fishing/freediving gear. Rentals available at the harbor.
Fishing license, ocean enhancement stamp, lobster report card required.
Beds are included with pillow, sheets, and blanket. Feel free to bring extra blanket. Bed arrangement is like a hostel, bunks with privacy curtains.

If you've ever wanted to go do a full catch and cook with me in person, here's your chance!! I've planned an amazing itinerary in Alaska for 6 days which includes multiple fishing trips and camping. Flight is not included but it will include all transportation between each day as well as to and from the airport. Includes all fishing gear, cooking gear, tent, but need to bring your own sleeping bag. It will take place August 27-Sept. 1st 2022.
