My most recent video covering the paid Session Schoolyard DLC map being remade and released for free for Skater XL has received quite a lot of mixed comments both for and against this remake.
I think this is a super interesting discussion especially since my previous videos covering Skater XL maps being ported to Session never got this kind of response.
So, letâs talk about it.
Are you for or against this remake?
Do you think itâs unethical to remake an official paid DLC for Session and release it for free for Skater XL?
Do you think this is a harmless remake and shouldnât be so controversial?
I personally donât think itâs that big of a deal and I donât think itâll hurt Session in any way. The modding community for any game has always took from other IPs and incorporated them into other games, while this may not be âlegally ethicalâ I donât believe itâs ever caused serious problems for studios and if it did then the mod can simply be taken down.
Thatâs my opinion in short. Now let me hear yours!
