It's 2:00 AM Sunday morning and I got home from the hospital around 8PM last night. (Saturday). No, it wasn't for Kimmie, it was me. The journey to where I'm at is strange, for the last couple weeks I've been in deep prayer about a few things that has been grieving my soul, low and behold, Darren Gallaher 's sermon last Sunday morning was on, are you ready...... being grieved in your spirit! Which is ok, folks, righteous grieving and righteous anger is ok, Jesus had both! Anyway, Sunday night we had musical guest, Kevin, Kim, and Doyle, and a fellowship dinner. During the dinner I broke a tooth, and it got caught in my throat and I was gagging, and it finally broke loose. I'll tell ya, it was scary! Didn't give it much thought after that. I Never realized at this point God was going to be answering and guiding me through my prayers. I woke up Monday, feeling bad, sweats, fever, chills. The days following kept getting worse, the sweats, fever, chills, being a wake only long enough to get a drink of water, and I was having some vivid dreams. I'll be writing about those dreams if it's God's Will for me to share. I got so bad that Kimmie and my daughter took me to the ER. After many test they found the culprit.... I have a bacterial infection that spread through my body, which began with the tooth being broke. A tooth! I'm on an aggressive treatment plan and will be ok in a couple three weeks! Folks, I've been serving Jesus many years in every way that a man can, but what God revealed about my life was .... I gave up on my 1st love, I gave up that desire and passion that God put in my heart, I gave up on the what God called me to do years ago. Why!.... I don't know, but I do know that the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. Paul tell us that somewhere in Romans, I just don't remember where. God never withdraws them once they are given, and He does not change His mind about those to whom He had called.
What is my 1st love, my passion, my desire, my calling? If you really know me..... you know the answer!
Where will God send me? I don't know, I might be there already. I'll find out when God reveals that to me!

I'm going to be off YouTube for a few. This is day 2 of being sick and in bed. Remember what the apostle John said,
"Dear children, keep away from anything that might take God's place in your hearts."

Thanksgiving is a beautiful time to reflect on gratitude, and what better way to do that than through Scripture? Here are a few verses that remind us of the importance of thankfulness.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 tells us to...
“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
This verse reminds us that our gratitude should be a constant part of our lives, not just reserved for special occasions.
Psalm 107:1 tell us to...
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.”
This verse reminds us that our gratitude is rooted in God’s enduring goodness, and no matter what challenges we face, His love remains steadfast.
Colossians 3:15 encourages us to...
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.”
This verse reminds us that our gratitude fosters peace within us and strengthens our community.
Philippians 4:6-7, tells us...
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
This verse reminds us that thankfulness is intertwined with our prayers. It shifts our focus from our worries to God’s provision.
As you gather around the table this Thanksgiving, remember these verses and take a moment to reflect on your blessings, and express your gratitude not just for the food before you but for the love and grace that God pours into your life daily.
What are you thankful for? Share your thoughts and let gratitude fill your heart.
Happy Thanksgiving!!

Thoughts From God's Word - Revelation 22:7-21
We're at the end of the book of Revelation and in chapter 22 verses 7 through 21, Jesus said I am coming soon, and He's reminding us of the importance of staying faithful and righteous. He says, "Behold, I am coming soon! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy in this book." This is a powerful reminder that we need to be prepared for His return at any moment.
Jesus also emphasizes the importance of living a holy life, saying, "Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy." This shows us that our actions matter and that we should strive to live in a way that honors God.
And finally, Jesus ends with a promise of hope and assurance, saying, "Yes, I am coming soon." He reminds us that He is the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. And He invites us to come and drink from the water of life freely.
So take these words to heart and live each day in anticipation of His return. Strive to keep His commandments and live holy lives, knowing that He is faithful and true. Remember,
Jesus is coming soon, morning or night or noon
Many will meet their doom, trumpets will sound
All of the dead shall rise, righteous meet in the skies
Going where no one dies, heavenward bound
Jesus is coming soon!
Have a blessed day!

Proverbs Challenge Day 17
Good afternoon folks,
It's day 17 of our Proverbs Challenge, and verse 3 stood out today, and it tells us that...
"Fire tests the purity of silver and gold, but the LORD tests the heart."
This verse tells us that just as precious metals are refined through fire, our hearts undergo trials to reveal their true condition. God uses these tests not to harm us but to purify us, shaping our character and faith.
When you face challenges, remember that they are opportunities for growth. Each trial is a chance for God to refine your heart, making it more aligned with His will. Folks, embrace these moments with confidence, knowing that God is at work within you.
When life gets tough, don’t lose heart, just trust the process. Let God mold you into the person He created you to be. Your heart is precious to Him, and every test is a step toward greater strength and deeper faith.
Have a blessed evening!

Thoughts From God's Word - Revelation 22:1-6
In Revelation chapter 22 verses 1 through 6, we see a beautiful image of the river of the water of life, flowing from the throne of God, symbolizing the abundant blessings and eternal life that God offers to those who believe in Him.
We also see that God is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. He is in control of all things, and His promises will always come to pass. This should give us confidence and assurance in our faith journey.
So folks, take a moment to reflect on the incredible gift of eternal life that God offers us through His Son Jesus Christ and trust in His sovereignty and have faith that He will fulfill all His

Good morning folks,
Today is day 15 of our Proverbs Challenge, and we are halfway through, only 15 days to go!
In chapter 15, verse 8 stood out, and it says that...
"The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord, but the prayer of the upright is His delight."
We see two powerful truths here. First is that God values our hearts over our actions. A life lived in wickedness, even if it appears religious, is not pleasing to Him. But when we approach Him with sincerity and integrity, our prayers become a source of joy for our Creator.
Think about this... your genuine prayers can bring delight to God. It's not about rituals or sacrifices... it's about your relationship and the heart behind it that matters most to Him.
Remember, God desires a heart that seeks Him earnestly and that our sincere prayers can change lives, starting with our own.
So folks, pray with intention and watch how He moves in our lives!
Have a blessed day!

In Revelation chapter 20 verses 7 through 10, we see the final battle between good and evil. Even though evil may seem powerful, ultimately, God will triumph. The devil will be defeated and thrown into the lake of fire. This shows us God's justice and sovereignty over all things.
As Believers, we can take comfort in knowing that no matter what challenges we face, God is in control and will ultimately bring about justice and victory. Trust in Him and stand firm in your faith, knowing that He has already won the battle for you.
Have a blessed day!

In Revelation chapter 20 verses 1 through 6, we see the thousand-year reign of Christ, also known as the Millennium. During this time, Satan is bound and unable to deceive the nations, symbolizing a time of peace and justice under the rule of Jesus Christ.
Even in the midst of trials and tribulations, as believers, we can find comfort in knowing that one day, Jesus will reign supreme, and evil will be defeated once and for all. Just thinking about that day makes you want to sing...
O victory in Jesus, my Savior, forever!
He sought me and bought me with His redeeming blood;
He loved me ere I knew Him, and all my love is due Him.
He plunged me to victory beneath the cleansing flood
So folks, focus on living out your faith with confidence, trust in God's ultimate victory, and be a light in this world, pointing others towards the hope and salvation found in Jesus Christ.
Have a blessed evening!

It's 2:42 in the morning, and another night praying for and about many things. You know folks, it's the quiet time in the middle of the night that God knows He has my full attention. It's just me and God. No distractions, no noise, just an open heart and a listening ear.
By the way, I probably won't make it to church in the morning! But that's ok, I have a good excuse...... I spent the night with my Creator!
