Afraid to show up because you're still figuring it out?

Let me tell you something most people won’t.. šŸ™‚

You're supposed to figure it out in public.

That’s where the real growth happens.

That’s how you build real trust.

Not by being perfect, but by being present.

People don’t just want the highlight reel.

They want to grow with you.

To see the process, the pivots, the progress.

Because when you show up as you are,

you give them permission to do the same.

So no, you don’t need to have it all together.

You just need to start.

That’s what makes you relatable.

That’s what makes you human.

That’s what makes your content connect.

You don’t have to be the expert to be valuable.

You just have to be honest enough to show up anyway..

We did it… 50K subscribers on YouTube! šŸŽ‰

Honestly, I couldn’t have done this without you.

Every comment, like, share, and kind message… it’s meant more to me than you know.

Thank you for being part of this journey and this growing community. šŸ™ā¤ļø

Now that we’ve made it this far together, I wanted to take a moment to share something with you…

If I had to start all over again on YouTube today, this is exactly what I’d do.

Because I know so many of you are just getting started, or thinking about starting… and it can feel like a lot.

Maybe you’re stuck waiting for the ā€œright timeā€ā€¦

Or feel like you need the perfect setup, a fancy camera, or expert-level editing skills just to get started.

But let me tell you something I’ve learned the hard way…

You probably won’t ever feel fully ready. And that’s okay.

It’s not about being perfect, it’s about starting anyway.

And here’s the good news most people overlook:

YouTube Shorts now gets over 200 BILLION views a day… more than TikTok. 🤯

If you’re already creating short-form videos on Instagram or TikTok, this is your sign to start repurposing them to YouTube.

That’s how I started.

I didn’t feel ready for long-form content yet, so I started with Shorts.

It gave me visibility… momentum… and the confidence to keep going.

Eventually, that momentum helped me step into long-form, but Shorts were the foundation.

So if you're feeling stuck, let me show you exactly what worked for me.

But first.. save this post so you can come back to it later ā¬‡ļø

āœ… Tip 1: Use Shorts to Build Visibility

- YouTube now allows Shorts up to 3 minutes long.
- Repurpose any content you’ve already made for TikTok/Instagram under 3 minutes.
- I have tutorials on my channel that walk you through this step-by-step.

āœ… Tip 2: Prepare for Monetization Early

- If you plan to join the YouTube Partner Program, start thinking about monetization now, not later.
- One thing I’m really glad I did was using copyright-free music from the very beginning. Why? Because once I got accepted into the YouTube Partner Program, all my older videos instantly became eligible for monetization too.
- I don’t see many people talk about this, but those old videos do add up over time. Some of them still bring in revenue today, and I would’ve missed out if they weren’t monetizable.
- I personally use Epidemic Sound for music, but YouTube’s free Audio Library is great too (just remember it's only available for Shorts under 1 minute).
- I like to mix it up, sometimes I use trending sounds from the library, and other times I use my own audio. The key is to test everything and pay attention to your data.

āœ… Tip 3: Don’t Skip SEO

- Use keyword-rich, optimized titles, especially for your Shorts.
- Try testing 1-2 hashtags vs. none. Analyze what works and repeat it.
- Tools like VidIQ or TubeBuddy will help you with keyword ideas and content suggestions tailored to your channel.

āœ… Tip 4: Use YouTube Studio

- Schedule your content in advance using the YouTube Studio app (super helpful if you're always on the go like me).
- It's 100% free and makes posting consistently way easier.

āœ… Tip 5: Have a Monthly Content Plan

- I plan all my YouTube content in Notion, it helps me stay organized and intentional.
- Don’t just post to post, post with a plan 😊

āœ… Tip 6: Track Your Own Data

- Look at your average view duration, % watched, and your hook rate. You can find this under the anaytics tab inside YouTube Studio. If you want a tutorial on this, let me know below & I’ll make one in my upcoming YouTube videos for you.
- Don’t compare yourself to others. Let your own data tell you what’s working and what to improve.

Also, please remember that YouTube growth takes time, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible.

It’s not about going viral. It’s about showing up, learning as you go, and building momentum brick by brick.

I still feel like I’m scratching the surface when it comes to YouTube, but I’m committed to sharing what’s working for me as I grow.

If you’re just getting started and need help

I made a FREE YouTube Starter Checklist, the exact one I wish I had when I was starting.

The Only Apps I Use To Create Content On The Go! ā¬‡ļø

You don’t need 25 apps to be a content creator.

Here are the only ones I actually use to create content on the go using my phone (and still stay consistent)

..If your content process feels overwhelming, simplify it.

Simplicity = Consistency.

Consistency = Growth.

Stop overcomplicating it.

Also remember..

The tools don’t make you a creator..

CREATING does šŸ«¶šŸ»

Here’s what I don’t regret doing before I made my first $1 with content creation ā¬‡ļø

We all get hyped when we see Stripe screenshots…

The ā€œI made $10K while I sleptā€ kind of posts…

You know what I’m talking about šŸ™‚

And don’t get me wrong.. that’s amazing and inspiring..

BUT you know what no one talks about enough?

The part BEFORE that..

The part where:

… You’re figuring things out with zero guidance

… You post your heart out and get 12 views 🄺

… You question yourself every time you show up

… You wonder if anyone is even paying attention

… You battle self-doubt and fear of judgment every single day you show up on social media

Before I made a single dollar from content, here’s what I don’t regret doing..

I want to talk about it openly because not enough creators actually do..

So here it is..

1: Posting even when I wasn’t confident

Confidence didn’t come first. Action did. I got braver the more I showed up, even when no one clapped. The fear didn’t magically disappear, but I stopped letting it run the show.

2: Learning skills that didn’t pay me right away

I was editing, writing, designing, building workflows for free. I gave myself permission to learn as I go, and those same skills helped me build a business later.

3: Treating content like a business way before it started making money

I built systems, created offers, studied my audience, and kept showing up like I already was the brand I wanted to become.

4: Choosing progress over perfection

Nothing was perfect. And it didn’t need to be. I just kept moving.

5: Focusing on getting better instead of going viral

It was never about chasing views. It was about building something real. Something that lasts.

So if you’re still in that ā€œfiguring it outā€ stage…

this is your reminder: that stage matters.

It’s building you. It’s shaping your skills.

And one day, you’ll look back and realize it was never about the first $1

.. it was about who you became in the process.

What’s something you don’t regret doing before you started seeing results?

Let’s normalize this part of the journey ā¤ļø

How I Turned My Passion For Content Creation Into A Career..

First of all, I didn’t plan to make content creation my career..

I honestly just wanted to share what I knew & document everything so it can help others who are just starting out..

I posted my first video with no strategy.. it was cringey.. it was messy.. But I kept showing up.

I got clearer with my message. And started speaking directly to the people I wanted to help.

Slowly, I built momentum.

Over time, I figured out how to build systems, monetize my knowledge, and turn content into income.

I didn’t wait to have it all figured out to take action… I just started.

I posted when the views were not even hitting 200 per video, and showed up even when no one was engaging with my content..

There were highs and lows but I didn’t let the views get to me..

All I cared about was getting better than I was yesterday..

Hitting my content goals and showing up when I said I was going to..

Now I have over 300k followers on my social media channels..

I’m a big introvert & sometimes I can’t even believe how far I have come.. 🄹

And now I get to wake up and do what I love while helping others grow & use social media to start & grow their own businesses too.

If you’re dreaming of turning your passion into a full-time path, let this be your sign: it’s possible!

Trust the process.. You can do it too! ā¤ļø šŸ™‚
