Kangaroo Joey Recovering In Care 🦘
Jess is an Eastern Grey Kangaroo joey, who was found alone with her mother nowhere to be found.
She was brought to WIRES macropod carer Anne, who began to care for the orphaned kangaroo.
Jess's transformation while in care was remarkable. Within two months of coming into care, he began to open her eyes and take her first steps.
She continues to go from strength to strength and will be released into the wildlife once she is 18 months old.
