Indian Coffee: Brewed in tradition, rich in flavour.
Did you know that Coffee Cultivation in India is traditionally attributed to a revered Sufi Saint, Baba Budan? According to legend, around the 16th Century, Baba Budan went on a pilgrimage to Mecca. Despite the risk involved, he smuggled back seven coffee beans by hiding them in his clothing.
Upon his return to India, Baba Budan planted the beans on the slopes of the Chandragiri Hills (now known as Baba Budan Giri), in Chikmagalur, Karnataka.
This marked the beginning of Coffee Cultivation in our country. 🇮🇳

Affogato is a simple and delicious Italian dessert that combines the creaminess of gelato or ice cream with the bold flavor of espresso
How to make it:
Ingredients:
- 1 shot of hot espresso - even better if it's our Signature Dark Roast Arabica
- 1-2 scoops of vanilla gelato or ice cream
Instructions
• Brew a shot of espresso using an espresso machine or a stove top moka pot.
• Place 1-2 scoops of vanilla gelato or ice cream in a serving glass or cup.
• Pour the hot espresso over the gelato or ice cream.
The heat of the espresso will begin to melt the gelato, creating a delicious mix of coffee and creamy goodness
Optionally you can also sprinkle cocoa powder, chocolate shavings, or crushed nuts on top for added flavour.
Serve immediately and enjoy!

"I moved to Delhi in May of 2023 to work as a Meteorologist with Air India. Learning the ways of a new city after having spent most of my life in a small town in Assam hasn’t been a cakewalk, to put it simply.
Till my post graduation, I have lived either with or near my family, devoid of any real responsibility. Naturally my parents were skeptical about me moving to the national capital, fearing if I will be able to adjust. And honestly, so was I.
But once I was here, I was pleasantly surprised at my abilities to adapt and cope with new situations in the city. It’s been 9 months since I moved and am currently managing my own house on top of a job that requires me to work at odd hours.
It’s not always easy and on some days I do crave the comfort of my parents’ home. But living independently has greatly enhanced my self-worth. Now I know I will be able to handle anything that life throws at me, as long as I believe in myself."

"I made a shift to the construction industry after working in a different space for 10 years. It was intimidating enough to learn the ropes of something I’d never done before but I was met with a challenge that I surely wasn’t prepared for.
