Businesses and Hobbies is the new Sims 4 expansion, it seems inspired by Open for Business and Free Time from Sims 2. However, unless they're not showcasing more activities (which I doubt, but we'll see) there's only a few in comparison to the many that Sims 2 added. It's worth mentioning that some activities introduced in Sims 2 are already in other Sims 4 packs, so it's not as simple as just reintroducing everything.
Still, more activities would've been nice imo. What are your thoughts?

Apparently, Sims 1 and Sims 2 are finally being re-released this week! As long as they can run properly on modern systems, I think this is cool. Are you excited?

I just wanted to let you know that after 8 years of making comparisons, the time has come to update some videos, namely ghosts, deaths, dates and a few more.
I'm thinking about updating the Reaper video as well, but I made that one very recently, so I'm not giving it priority, but just know it'll be updated at some point.
Now if the Maxis team finally remembers platsims exist, that'd be a cool one to update.

Hey guys! In your opinion, what are some of the scariest/creepiest things in the sims?
In my opinion:
Sims 1: prank calls, ghost sounds and burglar sound, death screams, grim reaper
Sims 2: ghosts
Sims 3: failed child wish, zombies coming up from the ground
Sims 4: possesed sims

So now there is a pack dedicated to death, and if I didn't know these packs had a survey a while back, then I'd swear someone at Maxis is trolling me lol
The trailer was kinda vague beyond funerals, so I'm interested in seeing what else they got. What are your thoughts on this pack?

So, there is no Sims 5 in sight, and all I keep thinking is how much better the other games would be today if they were given 10+ years of development, but also, how much worse the franchise would be because they'd be stuck with the older concepts.
Like Sims 1's isometric view, Sims 2's inability to visit neighbors or Sims 3's lag. Each new entry tested a new concept to try and improve the palyer's experience, and even tho that meant another seasons, pets, magic, etc. It made the franchise move forward and feel fresh.
Anyway, all of this to say, I think I liked the Sims better when they reset each 5 years, cause after 10 years, it shouldn't feel like Sims 4 is still trying to catch up to its predecessors. But that's exactly what it feels like to me.

I hope those of you who were curious about Inzoi were able to try it cause the demo is gone now. I didn't know it was limited (otherwise I would've encouraged people to check it out even more) and I think it was a wrong move, but let's see if they're able to keep up the hype cause the launch is not near afaik.
I'm still editing my video, but it should be up one of these days for those who still want to see how it compares to the sims
