This is such a sentimental time of the year for so many of us as we reflect on 2022 coming to a close. Last month we also celebrated one year of traveling full time with our @aluminumtoyhauler, and decided to put together a compilation of video clips set to music with no voice narration. It's basically a 3 minute travel diary filled with scenery from all over the US, wildlife, other animals, and more. "Where do your cats eat in your RV? It's such a small space?"
That's a great question and one we get asked frequently. I wanted a low traffic area for them inside our @aluminumtoyhauler so they could relax while eating and so we wouldn't knock over their food and water.
We ended up deciding to place their bowls underneath the dinette table on top of the aluminum wheel well. This gives the bowls some extra height for better kitty ergonomics, and they stay out of our way. The cats appreciate not getting tripped over during meal time too.

Greetings from the future!
We are currently in Wyoming and boy do I have a bunch to share with you. If only I could edit as fast as I film. I am currently working on a series about what it's like to visit this area (especially with an RV) as well as what it's like to work and live here. I've got a ton of inside scoop to share with you and tips to help prepare you before you get here. Spoiler alert: Phone service and mobile data signals are scarce at our location.
Before I get to all things Wyoming, I will be sharing some very real struggles we've had with RV life---things you may want to consider or reconsider whether you are planning to embark on a journey of full or part time RV living. Of course I will also share some beautiful (and many free) points of interest along the way---from Arizona eastward.

Who else is trying to beat the heat right now?
It seems like everywhere we end up, there are heat advisories or higher than normal temps. For over a week now I've been working on a video for you that includes several tips on how we stay cool in our ATC Toy Hauler with the cats on those really hot days (with and without AC). I thought today might be the day I finally get to share it with you and then my four year old @Apple MacBook dies. After hours of troubleshooting I start thinking, okay worst case scenario is I need to buy a new one so I start searching for the nearest store just in case. Mind you, we are camping off grid in the middle of nowhere and the only Best Buy is actually a pharmacy. Whaaaaat????!! 😂

The photos below are from my one and only cruise experience in 2017. I had never had a desire to cruise but this one was a gift (with an ocean view balcony) and we ended up having the most AMAZING time. We'll, except for the part where we had to leave our kitties behind because they weren't allowed.

Something happened with our cat Phoenix during today's leg of road travel that I feel is significant enough to share with you, and may help if you have a nervous cat (or even a dog or person).
I have a desert camping video I was in the midst of editing but that's going to have to wait. Next upload will center around an important and simple, yet overlooked tool for calming a stressed cat. I hope to have it complete within the next few days so be on the lookout if it's of relevance to you.
