Hey gang! Very sorry that Iāve been MIA - you might have noticed that I had been posting pretty inconsistently and I finally thought it would be good to take a bit of a break while I spend July in LA! Doing YouTube, TikTok, the podcast, Letterboxd etc had become really overwhelming and I wanted to take some steps in my personal life to make sure I wasnāt overextending myself while trying to find a balance. That said, Iāve really missed it/you guys these past few weeks and, well, I canāt really pass up reviewing a new M. Night Shyamalan movie. Iām hoping to feel good returning in August but in the meantime the podcast has been on its regular schedule if you havenāt checked that out already - open.spotify.com/show/50qLyQRYW5ejzhUD9dcb9W ! Hope you guys are watching some good movies, feel free to let me know your favorites of the year if you got this far into the rant! Here's my ranking for the year so far: letterboxd.com/stk5/list/2024-releases-r4nked/

Hey gang, very late post for this but THANK YOU FOR 10K SUBSCRIBERS!!!!!! Iām blown away. It was very exciting to have it happen because of Dune, since those movies and that world mean so much to me. But most of all, you all mean so much to me and Iām endlessly grateful for your support. Some of you even said youāve been here since my first Dune video, or my very first video ever! Iām very lucky to have such an incredible community here. Again sorry for the late post - I left for Texas/SXSW right after it happened so itās been a crazy couple of weeks, I should have a recap up for the movies I saw there in the next day or two!
But, now for the real business - as promised, for 10k subs I would love to do either a Q&A video or a video going through my physical media collection. Feel free to vote below or let me know if you have any other ideas! Love you guys!š©·šæ

Hey gang! Before I ramble, important question: what's your most anticipated movie of July?Ā
June is kind of winding down, I should have a video going out for both No Hard Feelings and Indiana Jones 5 though. I attached my excitement ranking but it's kind of hard to pick between Mission Impossible, Barbie, and Oppenheimer.
Anyways, I just wanted to post some (spoiler-filled) podcast episodes for things I didn't get to do a video for here -
The Flash & Overhyped Movies:Ā

Offer is also always there to join us on Patreon for the House of Horrors Podcast, especially becuase July is JAMES WAN MONTH BABYYYY. We're gonna do a watch-along and read letterboxd reviews for Insidious, Dead Silence, and Malignant. It's gonna be epic.

I saw EVIL DEAD RISE last night, oh boy am I excited to talk about it with you guys! Review will be up this weekend - before Rise comes out, what is everyone's favorite movie in the Evil Dead franchise? My favorite is Army of Darkness, but the 2013 remake has a special place in my heart.
Also friendly reminder that the first House of Horrors episode is out, where we talked about the great debate - horror at the Oscars: www.patreon.com/HouseofCinema

Hey gang, I have an important question: what's your favorite scary movie? (Actually lmk. Mine is probably Psycho or The Thing).
As some of you know, I am going to be co-hosting a horror series on the House of Cinema podcast with CinemaJoe (called House of Horrors, ha ha). I am SO excited to have a consistent outlet to gush about my favorite genre. The series will be Patreon-exclusive, but the first episode just dropped on the public channel. We talk all things horror, our background with it, etc. before we get into some juicy stuff like horror at the Oscars, A24 horror, creature features, you name it. I really appreciate everyone who has already joined us on Patreon, and can't wait to see which topics everyone will vote for. Here is a link to that and the public episode that just dropped!

Hey gang, I was indeed working on an M. Night ranked video but I might save it - I have so much to say about his work that I donāt really want to reduce and I just donāt have time for such a big project right now. THAT SAID, I joined my friend Joe (CinemaJoe on TikTok) for a podcast episode discussing Knock at the Cabin and our 4 favorite Shyamalan films, check it out if youāre interested! It was a great convo.

Hey gang, life has been very busy between work and family events this weekend so my Elvis review is painfully late - Iāll have it up tomorrow!
In the meantime Iām curious, whatās your favorite film of 2022 so far? This is my ranking: boxd.it/eP4Kc

Hey gang, another collab incoming! My friend Mike (āŖ@DidYouZThatā¬) is the expert in all things Back to the Future/Michael J. Fox and had me on his channel to talk about Bright Lights, Big City (1988). He dives into some really fascinating background information (my favorite fact being that the movie was almost lead by Tom Cruise and directed by Joel Schumacher?!), and of course our thoughts on the film. Check it out!
