Hey everyone,
I’m not really the best with this kind of stuff, so I’m going to keep it somewhat brief. The last 5 years have been an interesting ride and I’ve learned a lot from producing content for YouTube. I’m also thankful for everyone who took the time to watch my videos and subscribe to the channel. That means a lot. That said, I’m sure some of you noticed that it’s been a while since I uploaded new content. Recently I’ve been looking at where I am, and where I want to be. After giving it a considerable amount of thought, and running things by friends and family, I’ve decided to leave YouTube behind.
I will leave the channel up as I know these reviews can help people moving forward, but no new content will be coming out. I’ve decided to focus my time and efforts on other projects. One of those being my podcast with Urban Hafner from fpc.ink. I want to give that more of the time that it deserves so we can release shows more often…as well as other things. Thank you for the views, comments, feedback, and the ability to grow my creativity. It’s been fun.

3 minutes ago, this had 600gb worth of video for a wonderful "top 5 blue inks" idea that I was going to release tonight. In the process of getting ready to export the file, I was moving my keyboard from one part of the desk to another. Accidental keypresses happened and as a result, before I knew it, 60 minutes of video and 14 minutes of potential YouTube goodness were gone just like that.
And yeah, the files are gone. I keep my recycle bin in a constant state of disabled and this project was started after my last backup and before my next backup, so there is no getting them back. Between losing my voice for the last 2.5 weeks and then trying to get caught back up, I just can't....So instead of trying to redo this video, I'm just going to move on.
Maybe this is the universe's way of telling me not to do Top # videos and just stick to doing what I normally do. I don't know. Since the video won't be coming out though, here is the top five blue inks in my collection.

Video will be delayed this week. Monday is my normal Film/Edit/Post day for videos. Normally that’s fine, but today has been one power outage after another. So we are delaying the video to protect gear.

So, I'm taking last week and this week off to get a few personal things in line and make sure I can fully focus on those. Videos will be back next week. In the meantime, I have a question. Do you prefer the talking head videos I've done as of late, or do you prefer the videos where I just film top down and get right into it? Let me know below. Also I'm going to work a 1080 vs 2160 into it.

Video this week is going to be delayed a little. Turns out the rated overclock on each of my 2x16gb RAM kits works fine when it’s just those individual kits. Unfortunately, they don’t work with the 3600 18-22-22-42 timings when both kits are populated together. So, I had to modify my timings and I’m now in the middle of my third, and hopefully final, integrity test. That also means though that I can’t even film cause the RGB on the computer is set to full on. Something about color accuracy and everything. 😉
So while we wait, I give you the computer equivalent of watching paint dry.

Video this week is going to be delayed. All the pre-work is done, but Amazon decided that delivering something I actually need to make reviews was not important enough to deliver on time. Once the parts come in I will haul butt to get this review out to you fine folks.

Quick update...
So, there wasn't a video last week and there won't be one this week. Simple answer for that? I needed some "Me Time". I'll be back to reviews next week with the final ink in the Kaweco line and then moving to some different brands and pen reviews. So, part of why I threw my voice out a week ago was due to starting a gaming channel. So if you want to see a mediocre gamer play some games that he’s never played before, like the entire Halo franchise, then check out the channel.
Side note: There is some language and drinking over on that channel. Consider it my way of letting my hair down so I can be more professional over here.
