This is a MUST WATCH for any parents who have kids aspiring for professional sports! 📺🙌🏻
Before this social media stuff and when I was a small-town kid - all I ever wanted to do was play in the Major Leagues. I was a pretty salty ball player for rural Oklahoma but I didnt have what it took to truly compete at the highest levels. I’ve had the privilege to play sports growing up and be exposed to the commitments and sacrifices it takes for young kids to achieve a dream that less than .01% of the population gets to do. From uncles who played professional baseball to friends and family seeking a scholarship outside of small-town sports stardom - it truly is a grind. A lot of “coaches” or gurus try to sell something to kids and exploit their aspirations for a dollar. This guy, Tommy Costello, doesn’t.
How do I know? I’ve literally watched him do since I met him in 2015, and seen the impact he has had on so many young men and women with his coaching and leadership. Just watch the docu-series and see the impact he is creating.
Honored to know him, call him a brother, and darn proud of the work he is doing. Wish I could’ve had someone like him in my corner as a young athlete. I know I’d trust him with my kids.
