It was great to meet James May - @jamesmaybloke earlier today and just talk bikes for a bit.
Got a really good insight into the style of bikes he enjoys and why.
He is a real gentleman. He had no qualms about taking a picture with this fat boy.

Back in hospital this morning for the 14th time in the last 3 weeks.
Nothing out of the ordinary. Just more tests and monitoring as part of the treatment and another step up in the strength of my meds. Going from 20mg of venetoclax to 50mg. It will now keep ramping up weekly until I get to 400mg.
That will take another 4 weeks, then phase 3 of the treatment starts with additional drugs. I will stay at that level for the next 24 months. Sounds like a marathon although in the scheme of things it is just a blip.
Taking it one day at a time. Not thinking about anything beyond that. After all, I’ve never seen anyone climb a mountain in one step. It’s always just one step at a time and then the next.
If anyone is going through anything and just wants to chat, please reach out. I am a good listener and if this helps just one person it will be more than worth it.

It was truly my honour to lead the Basingstoke leg of the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride today.
Huge thank you to everyone who participated and worked so hard to raise donations for a cause that is really close to my heart.
Riding today a lot more meaning considering I’m in week 3 of a 24 month chemo cycle.
I look forward to seeing everyone for next years ride.
