Nirvana plays at The Vogue in Seattle, WA. The band played "Blandest" for the first time. At one point in the show, Kurt threw his guitar down in frustration after stage divers kept stepping on his guitar chord and pulling it out. He then climbed up on to the speaker and sang while hanging upside down for part of a song. I'm having a watch party for my remix of this show today at 5 pm PT, 8 pm ET if you wish to join.

After receiving a letter from the band 7 Year Bitch encouraging him to continue to make music, Dave Grohl enters the recording studio alone for the first time following Kurt Cobain's death. He demoed all new songs which he had wrote after receiving the letter. The songs were "I'll Stick Around," "This Is A Call," "Oh, George," "Wattershed," and "X-Static" all of which would appear on the first Foo Fighters album the following year. Producer and friend, Barrett Jones would later visit a local Seattle radio station as part of a New Music segment and discuss new bands and play their songs, of which Dave was mentioned and his demo of "I'll Stick Around" was played. This garnered interest from music industry as the DJ of the station had connections to Sony Music. This would make Dave contemplate his future and prompt him to record the first Foo Fighters album later in the year.

Kurt Cobain and Krist Novoselic open for Lush under name Industrial Nirvana at Reko Muse in Olympia, WA. Kurt and Krist played their instruments and made noise while a drum machine played beats for them. As they made noise, Tobi Vail (KAOS) and other friends joined them on stage throughout the performance. Unfortunately no recordings or videos were made.
