I’m back in the USA, but because no trains run in Asheville due to the storm damage, I might catch little to no trains until the spring of 2025.

Channel update: Because of severe damage of the Norfolk Southern Asheville District and River Line from Newport TN, to Old Fort, Asheville has been Cut off from train activity until January. And I will come back to the US from November to January. If my house has safe water, and Wi-Fi, here are my 3 railfanning plans:
1: Railfan Spartanburg. There will be around 4ish trips. This would be on weekends. Thinking of also chasing 18D as well there.
2: Chase a CSX Local on the Clinchfield Loops. Because of how far my house is from the Clinchfield Loops, I’ve never wanted to venture out there, but because the Asheville Area is cut off from trains, it seems possible there would be a Chase of a local from Marion to Spruce Pine, if any of the industries are open! This one might happen once, or never. But still, I think I need to check out the Clinchfield Loops, because the Old Fort Loops might be abandoned.
3: Chase a NS local in McDowell County. If the industries are up and running other there, then I would catch what ever local runs through there, starting at Old Fort, and Ending the Chase in Marion, or even continuing to Nebo. This might happen once, or twice.
Other ideas released to where my family is at, is the Charlotte area and Waxhaw, as well as the Metropolitan Subdivision, especially in Rockville Maryland.
4: Railfan myself on my rail-bycicle. I’m currently near an abandoned train track.

Welp, more about these thoroughbred Dash 9’s. According to NSDash9’s roster of the Dash 9, there are 9 Thoroughbred Dash 9’s Still active between 9542 to 9625. Kinda strange, but after that, up to the 9745 area, it’s pretty much all are stored, like it’s 2019. Let’s see when this tribute video gets released.

Welp, there is like 5 more thoroughbred dash 9's left running on the NS fleet according to NSdash9 . com's roster. So with that happening, I would release the thoroughbred Dash 9 completion when all are stored (it needs no white line where the number boards are at at the cab, and no horse head in the ns stripes). There would be 8 clips, of these locos leading. Though not the best quality prior to 2022, this would include video's probably pre 2021, when I was a mindless foamer.

So as a long drought of uploads would happen (no catches until early December), I would make a series of railfaning videos. It’s called Railfaning WNC. This will include the Biltmore Village, Black Mountain (someone made a vid of it back in 2011, and so much has changed in 13 years), Swannanoa, Old Fort Loops, and maybe even the RAD (River Arts District). Some clips in these videos didn’t even get released on the channel yet.

I will be moving away from Asheville in 1 week, however, I WOULD BE BACK from November to December. So pretty much, the only thing you would see from me from like July 20 to November 20 is Trainz 2 / Trainz 3 railfaning videos, and other projects I have in the making.

Congrats: Capitol Limited number 29 and 30! On November 9th or 10th ish I DONT KNOW, the supperliner coach equipped Capitol Limited will stop running. Instead it will Merge with the Silver Star, to create: The Floridian! Miami-Tampa-Washington DC-Pittsburg-Chicago, and back. This would be train 40 and 41, and it will include amfleets and viewliners.
I’ve seen the Capitol Limited before. I uploaded a whopping 4 videos of it in 2019, 2022, and 2 in 2023, all at the Rockville MD station around thanksgiving time. If there is a chance I will go back up there, I might Chase this train up to Harpers Ferry.
This I think is temporary this new train, but if it’s new, I will want to go on a Louisville-Nashville-Atlanta approach.
