in the future - u will be able to do some more stuff here,,,!! like pat catgirl- i mean um yeah... for now u can only see others's posts :c
Beginning to create some vertical videos for YouTube-shorts and other platforms. The first one now posted is "Pyralis: World of Sulfur"
The plan is for these to be stand-alone: I am not going to reuse visuals. Though I might adapt them into extended projects later.
These are bite-sized(~30 second) glimpses into various worlds: short-form creations in addition to projects already in the works.
I spend so much time exploring a wide variety of concept visuals. This is a good way to share more.

Up next is a pair of videos with calming magickal aesthetics : Sunstone Glade and Moonstone Glade. To be released sometime this weekend or Monday. Some good music and visuals for these that reflect the polarity of the spirits of Sun and Moon.
A couple of other projects in the coming weeks: The Song of Durin, inspired by an incredible rendition by Colin Rudd. And a space song: Ghosts in the Stars.

The journey in Middle-Earth continues! Next up: An Elvish poetic song: "Elenna Enque", "The Star's Promise". Animation nearly done, will be editing this weekend. Should be bit of a palate-cleanser after that last video.

Spooky scary video incoming tomorrow. Will be exploring the darker themes of Middle Earth, a side of Tolkien that has yet to be seen in popular media, but has been deeply explored by bands like Summoning.

100! A nice little milestone and a chance to share a bit about and what I envision for this channel. Attached are some visuals from my most recent music video(movie-trailer-like). The whole idea of these videos is to explore various worlds by bringing concept art to life and synchronizing the visuals to music. Sometimes it's a fully-fleshed out visual narrative, sometimes it's an exploration of an aesthetic, sometimes it's simply visuals and music that I think would work well together.
I use A.I. tools to create these videos: Krita-ai(sdxl) for creating concept visuals and runway.ml for turning the images to video. A bit about this: the past decade I have been exploring fractals and fractal art (you can see some in the site linked in my bio) as a means to generate unique shapes and form-language with concept art in mind (specifically environment/landscape concept art). With a.i. tools, I have been able to take these fractal images, synthesize them with a.i., and create a fine-tuned image generation model with them (a LoRA). For all image generation, I work with various LoRAs to evoke a desired aesthetic. This custom fractal LoRA is at the core and used across nearly all models I use.
As you can tell by looking at older videos, there has been a learning curve for using these tools and learning video-editing techniques and styles. I am cultivating a standard and will like to maintain that standard. I am no fan of the massive amounts of a.i. drek that gets shoveled around the internet.
I may branch out to some long-form videos in the future, most likely some music collections(a.i. or otherwise) with simple looping visuals, but perhaps short-films as well.
The cadence I am settling into is about 1 video a week. But I will post videos as I feel they are ready.
Best,
Mitchell
