Frequent Dhikr during the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah
Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنه) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“No days are greater to Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ), nor are good deeds more beloved by Him during them, than the Ten Days. So increase tasbih (Subhan'Allah), tahmid (Alhamdulillah), takbir (Allahu Akbar), and tahlil (La ilaha illallah) during these days.”
[Recorded by Ahmad and at-Tahawi. Verified to be hasan by al-Albani (Irwa' ul Ghalil no. 890)]

Dua to take Advantage of the Knowledge Learnt
Mudariff used to say:
اَلْلَّهُمَ إِنِّيِ أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ يَكُونَ أَحَدٌ أَسْعَدَ بِمَا عَلَّمْتَنِي مِنِّي، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَكُونَ عِبْرَةً لِغَيْرِي
Allahumma inni a’udhu bika an yakuna ahadun as‘ada bima ‘allamtani minni, wa a’udhu bika an akuna ‘ibratan lighayri
O Allah I seek refuge in you that anyone else should take advantage of what you taught me more than myself, and I seek refuge in you from being a lesson for others.
[Kitab az-Zuhd by Imam Ahmad (1342)]
Shaykhul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (رحمه الله) described this tremendous dua:
"It is from the best of duas" [Majmu' Al-Fatawa (14/307)]
Shaykh Abdur-Razzaq al-Badr said:
"And whoever does not act upon his knowledge and he calls the people to it, then they are happier with his knowledge then him, & whoever does not take a lesson from those were deficient from the people that came before, he will become a lesson for others."

Alhamdulillah Katheera
From Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه) who said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said
‘When the slave of Allaah says: ‘Alhamdulillah Katheera’ [Praise be to Allah a lot], Allah Ta’ala says: ‘Write a lot of my Mercy for My slave.’
[Saheeh Targheeb 1578 & graded Hasan Lighayrihi by Al-Albani]
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
‘A man said ‘Alhamdulillah Katheera’ [Praise be to Allah a lot] the Angel saw this as a great matter so he went to check with his Lord -Azza wa Jal. Allah said: ‘Write it as my slave said it, ‘Katheer’.’

Fasting Six Days in the Month of Shawwal
From Abu Ayyoob al-Ansaari (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) said:
‘Whoever fasts Ramadan then follows it up with six days from Shawwal then it is as if he fasted the whole year.’
