Self-taught musician, composer, producer, sound designer, singer and experimental sonic artist. I play guitar, bass and a little bit of keys, trumpet, cello, drums, ukulele, but make most of my music using voice, electronic sounds and computers.
I have a Masters in Sonic Arts (with Distinction), a BSc in Music Technology (First Honours) from Queens University Belfast and an Audio Engineering Diploma from SAE, London.
In 2011 I wrote an original piece of music every day for a year: Song A Day For A Year ( sadfay.bandcamp.com ). In 2012 I did, Song A Week For A Year ( sawfay.bandcamp.com ) which was funded by the NI Arts Council.
In 2020 I wrote a song every day for an entire year, again! 366 songs this time.
Between then and now, I've completed "JAMuary," (a song every day in January) three years in a row.
Currently, I am working on a solo album, collaborating with experimental artists and occasionally writing music for other people. Get in touch!
