I am in shock, and heart broken all at the same time. This man is responsible for so many young black men/women becoming D1 athletes. Where I didn't have a father growing up. This is one of the men who stepped up to the plate. This man didn't just coach me. He fathered me, fed me, guided me, disciplined me, slipped money into my hand when he knew I needed it, sent me all over the united states & across seas a few times from doing track and field. There are so many more things I can say. I know he left his world knowing he had a tremendous impact on Decatur,IL. I will be taking a few days off.
