After two major earthquakes along with 145 aftershocks in one day that destroyed so many peoples' lives, Turkey declared seven days of national mourning following deadly earthquakes.
Most of my family and friends are safe as we are from the other side of the country, but unfortunately we have some extended family and friends who are badly impacted; thankfully survived but some lost their homes... So many people are outside in the cold for days dealing with this tragedy.
My heart is heavy. I can't describe how heartbroken we are.

Hey Everyone!
We are finally coming close to the big 10k on our channel and its our anniversary week of the second year of leaving everything behind to travel the world! BETTER LATE THAN NEVER! :)
For those who may not be familiar with our adventures, we split our travel stories into CHAPTERS... Here is a a little recap of our travel adventures;
Chapter ONE: Our fortunate "unfortunate" beginning If you have been following our adventures, you may already know that after 3 weeks into our full time travels in 2020, the most unexpected thing happened and our supposed to be the first year of "full time travel" had to be cancelled...We didn't want to return to the US as we didn't have a job anymore and there were hiring freezes during the pandemic so it was going to be rough for us financially, plus we didn't have any health insurance (Thanks AMERICA!) So we went to Turkey...
CHAPTER TWO: Adjusting to life in Turkey while exploring it. Luckily, since Gokce is from Turkey, we had a second home to return to and wait until the day when the world recovered. Plus, Steve for the first time had an experience of living in Turkey and adjusting to the culture. We thought it wouldn't take too long to hit the road again, but little did we know how terrible things would become. Since we were already in Turkey, we decided that doing a road trip would be a great opportunity to explore Turkey.
CHAPTER THREE: Traveling Internationally (and Responsibly) again! In 2021, we decided that instead of sitting and waiting, we could see the countries that were open for tourism in a responsible manner. After we would return to the US and we would give up on our dreams - as we thought we needed to face the truth that full time travel was NOT MEANT TO BE for us. We traveled to Dubai, Maldives and Egypt and then went back to the US and decided to post the videos and eventually say goodbye to TRAVEL INTERESANTE.
And then... LUCKILY, when we got to the US, both of us got jobs in which we could work remotely (Gokce went back to her previous job which she loves). We are fortunate that we could be still on the road and get to see the places we always dreamed of visiting! We decided to keep traveling while working and maintain this channel at the same time!
OF COURSE, we were wrong about managing to do everything all at once... It has been so much more difficult than we thought it would be. Working for our day jobs in different time zones, making travel plans, and of course, planning, filming, and editing videos on top of everything have been VERY CHALLENGING.
We are still doing our best to finish up CHAPTER THREE, and are also planning on getting help to get back on track with our videos so we can go back to being on a weekly schedule again soon! Please bear with us, we promise that we are dedicated to this channel and to you! :)
AS EXPECTED, the YouTube algorithm, doesn't like us right now because of our inconsistent schedule, so we are unsure how many of you will actually see this post (or remember us lol), but good news, our next CHAPTER is in the making and we are finally in ASIA! (Please check out our IG for real time updates)
We want to have a LIVE celebration with you so YOU CAN ASK US ANYTHING. We are excited and nervous to do it, but it would be a meaningful celebration as we thought (hope we are right). Before that, we wanted to see what you would be interested to know at most.

(Türkçe 👇) Some people have asked us "When are you going back to the "normal" life?"
What's "normal"? Go to college, get a job, get married, buy a house, have kids and etc. They are, of course, very exciting steps in life and we have taken some of them as well. However, the path we chose doesn't fit into that "normal" order and mindset. Living with our carry ons and switching places has been our normal, and we are so happy with our decision!
Is it difficult? Absolutely! Is it tiring? Yes! But is it worth it? 100%!!! We have never regretted our decision. Is this going to last forever? We don't think so, but currently we are enjoying this journey and don't know when it will end.
We are also working, which can be challenging to manage at times. That's why it felt so good to come down here to Miami, relax a little bit and spend some time with the family. Of course, we also made some exciting plans and we will announce our next steps soon.
Btw we are curious about your opinion, when we are back to a "normal" life, shall we move down to Florida? 😉

Bazılarınız bize "Normal hayata ne zaman döneceksiniz?" diye soruyorsunuz.
"Normal" nedir? Üniversiteye git, iş bul, evlen, ev al, çocuk sahibi ol ve gibi gibi. Elbette bunlar hayatta çok heyecan verici adımlar, ve biz de bu adımların bazılarını attık. Fakat tabiki bazılarına göre "normal" sıraya uymayan adımlar da attık, orası kesin. Devamlı kabin valiziyle yaşamak ve yer değiştirmek de bizim normalimiz oldu artık, ve açıkçası bu kararımızdan çok memnunuz! Zor mu? Kesinlikle! Yorucu mu? Evet! Ama buna değer mi? 100%!!! Kararımızdan asla pişman olmadık. Peki bu sonsuza kadar sürecek mi? Sanmıyoruz, ama şu anda bu maceranın tadını çıkarıyoruz ve ne zaman biteceğini bilmiyoruz.
Bu yolculukta çalışmaya da devam ediyoruz ve bir kaç günlüğüne buralara (Miami) gelmek, biraz rahatlamak ve aile ile zaman geçirmek bize çok iyi hissettirdi. Tabii ki bazı heyecan verici planlar da yaptık. Yakında duyuracağız.
