@Deendougretired are one of my favorite couples in this amazing YouTube community. They are absolutely delightful. Dee "Bond" has such a funny and entertaining way of storytelling, and in this video, she shares her daring adventures at the casino, which almost landed her in jail (lol). Doug is an amazing partner, always by her side on all their adventures. Together, with their daughter and Grandma Angelina , they make a wonderful family. This is how I wrap up my workday: hanging out with my puppy, my daughter, and a few mates (Argentinian traditional hot herbal drink).
We like to chat about how our day went, and today was a bit special. She told me something really nice that’s happening in her life. It makes me happy that she feels comfortable opening up to me. I think back to those times I doubted myself, wondering if I was doing things right. But hey, we’re all learning, and I guess I didn’t do too badly. If there’s one thing that counts, it’s being able to share our feelings. The rest, we’ll figure out as we go. In this pic, the pup is attentively listening to my daughter. Such a sweet and priceless moment. I'm rich.

Even in faraway Argentina, Halloween casts its spell, especially in our English classrooms. It's a vibrant portal to another culture, and the children, decked out in costumes, embrace "trick or treat" with an infectious glee. You should witness their excitement! Argentina is a melting pot, and celebrating diversity is woven into our curriculum.
But behind the joyful facade, Argentine teachers, particularly in public schools, grapple with harsh realities. Our students often come from vulnerable backgrounds, their basic rights denied. Every day is a struggle to ensure they receive what they deserve. We work in deplorable conditions, pouring our hearts and souls into our vocation, drawing on reserves we often don't possess. Yet, the boundless love we receive from our students is the most precious reward imaginable.
Of course, love alone doesn't pay the bills. We fight for fair working conditions, for what is rightfully ours. And though we face defeat time and again, we gain something far more valuable than those politicians who prioritize appearances over action.
Forgive the political undertones, but politics, or rather, the consequences of poor political decisions, permeate every facet of our existence – as citizens, as mothers, as teachers, as women.
